Would the studying of commodity pairs over other pairs be advised?

exactly.... they should be closer to .50... i told you this.. i am glad you opened your eyes.. now if aud and kiwi take a longer term dive euro should be even lower then .5.... like i said you need one of 3 things for a strong currency.. commodities or banking or manufacturing.. they don't have commodities.. the banking is in the crapper.. all they have left is manufacturing.. and Asia is taken market share from them.. with high social cost.. they have to go down comparable to others with these 3 stronger.. basic economics..

the euro was the anti usd .. so when commodities went up so did the euro... but there was no economic reason for it..other then the usd weakened compared to commodities.. the euro rode the coattails of commodities.. and now the the curtain is pulled back... the masses see the weakness. 2008 exposed it.. but they have others in the same boat. you dont have to outrun the lion just the guy next to you.

I read the following in another investor forum today regarding Australia

"The mother of all credit crunches is on the way...And Australia is going to go through a rough patch....Take a look at the Australian banks, as they have massive exposures to the Highly inflated Australian real estate marked, look at their lending stats over the last 6 years the graph rises almost vertically, ALARM BELLS ARE SOUNDING is anyone listening? Nope is the answer.

This is going to end badly, and the proposed 40% tax hike on miners profits is the que for more trouble. As miners will increase their prices to cope with the new tax, China Australia's largest consumer of mined products will say ADDIOS AMIGO!!!

Go short on Australian banks before the govt places a ban"

Guys, you say Kiwi is SAFE HELL and Australia will go HELL, so why nobady says like this 5-6 days ago ? Are this problems are growing just 5-6 days ?

Thanks G for explaining. So as Europe has less if any commodities than Australia, New Zeleand or Canada, the Euro should in fact be worth less than than these 3 currencies etc.

No, but the direction got clearer a couple of days ago. Seems like the market has realized this also. Take a look at your chart, Daily tf. Look 5 days back or so.

Why would the govt ban going short? You don't have to go short naked.

The Super Tax is just a way for the current government to get themselves unelected... and the hosing bubble we have here will more likely result in a flat period than a pop because demand is still strong for housing due to high net immigration.

I am seeing a possible reversal on the euro/usd on my hourly charts. If it wasn't for such a strong downward trend I'd be tempted to buy into it but I think waiting for confirmation is produent in this instance.
