You can't talk about a trend without giving the time frame...

Market is trending up in 5 minutes but trending down in 1H right now, so what's the trend ?

If you take the most followed time frames 1H / 4H / 1D they are all still down.
Getting it right is NOT as important as not getting it wrong.

I would suggest to people here to wait out the divergence on 4h chart and sell then.

Divergence can be ether destroyed by ranging within 1.2150 - 1.2400 or by pull back , I do now, maby around 1.2600, but you now, this pair tend to overshoot trendlines a lot these times.

JET ofcourse this divergence can be broken to the downside, BUT I belive that market sentiment tells that it wants short term corection in price (to the upside).

We r now in BULLISH consolidation phase..Early in the morning we were in NEUTRAL consolidation phase...that was 2160-2220. Now we r between 2215-2325..long above 2325..possible target 2399..still watch out and close it manually

i know...i have a hedge position from 2 days ago...
short @2282
long @2339
i already missed alots of moment which i supposed to clear the position since yesterday and taking profit...but i still hold my hedge...dunno i must cut or hold
my equity left $555.- and it can't resist to open an hedge.

Looking for 2365 area to short at 23.6 fibo from 3095. Yesterday price tested the same fibo level (from previous low obviously) and went down from there. Also 100MA on H1 chart could give us further resistance together with R1. All if we brake red trendline. 15 minutes for hourly candle to end. Next hour will lead the way IMHO. Patience my friends.

yea its classic MACD bullish divergence..still i got hidden divergence from On Balance Volume...possibly from CB intervention

It's called regular divergence and indicates trend reversal. Lower lows for pirce and higher low for the oscilator. Let's see...

Also check out in your chart, you had the same divergence and it was only a short term correction of 200 pips...so we would have 30 more to go if the patterns repeats...

OK guys i found the attached re the volatility.

Its a chapter from the book Forecasting Volatility in the Financial Markets

Might help somebody.

In my humble opinion what we have seen was just central banking intervention or hedge fund closing a previous short position
