Hi Mary

I know having a small account and trying to stay safe and only risk 1% is very much like watching paint dry , realistically you need at least $5k in your account before 1% makes any kind of sense!

But our EA will hit the stoploss sooner or later, it's good but it's not perfect, and when that happens you will be glad that you were careful!

it seems that even inside one broker (eg Alpari UK live) trades could be different... for the broker...for me nothing tonight with this one...
only v5b and adx mods...

so bad i dont have enough time..
to consider master-slave bridge...???

No trades for me as well with Alpari UK today.

Geoff, the third order is left without a trailing stop right? That is unless TP2 is reached for 50 then it would trail the third one to 50… however when the second trailing stop is hit the third order is left to run… Is my understanding correct?

The third order should have closed at +10 pips, if it didn't then something has gone wrong with the stoploss on that order!

Right right I remember now... but how could this have happened? Could it be related to a connection issue... Suppose my connection got cut while the third order was still running, from what I gather all Stops would have already been entered at the broker... The stop for third trade on my screen is the initial stop of 140...

That is a possibility if it happened after TP1 closed, this is when TP2 trailing stoploss moves to break-even and TP3 stoploss is moved to BE +10.

Ok... but the strange thing is that I booked the TP2 trailing stop at 21.... hmmm puzzling

Using v3 it would be difficult for the EA to miss the TP3 stoploss adjustment because it was doing it on every tick, that is why I modified it in v3a.

It sounds more like the EA lost control of the open order before it moved the stoploss up to +10, which would mean it lost it immediately after it moved the TP2 stoploss up to break-even.

It is difficult to see how it could go wrong but, obviously it did!

I read the code of your sharp EA.

I have an impression that daily hi/lo and pivot/targets those drawn on the chart are not really related to your entries, are they？

the entry algorithm is concise and original, nice work!
