Hi ST--I have used all defaults except GMT 3 for FXDD.
Alpari Demo finished in money, start 23.00 GMT2, but I made a mistake at Forex set to 23 GMT2 - so started 2h later with a huge loss. Good it was a Demo acc.

I have made a few minor changes to the EA and re-optimised the settings.
TP1 24, TP2 47, SL 140, TSL 24.
There are no changes to the way the EA trades, having tried dozens of different ways, I have not found anything that makes the slightest improvement to the basic v7 strategy!
A full 12 month strategy report is attached V7a.zip.
If you just want to use the EA download the .ex4 file only.
The .mq4 file is for the coders to examine.
The attachments have also been updated in post #1

Hi Geoff,
there must be something wrong with the code in either the V7 ea or the 3order EA. I use both EAs on 2 charts but the same account with different magic numbers. But the stop limits from the V7 were modified by the 3order EA and vice versa. This morning the stop limit of the 3rd order was still at 140 although the first 2 orders ended in profit. So I had to close the 3rd order of the 3orderEA manually not to get in loss...
Could you please check this?

Thank you backtesting!! Would you like to do longer backtests? such as 24 montsh, 36 months?
hey geoff, have you ever thought about hosting a master settings file online somewhere.. and getting your EA to connect to it (every new day or however u like) to update the EAs settings... (maybe provide an option for the user to enable this feature or not).. at least then everyone is in sync if they want to be.
Just a thought.

(maybe provide an option for the user to enable this feature or not).. at least then everyone is in sync if they want to be.
