BTW there is a war happening at Thailand now...Really sad seen innocent ppl suffer this war.

I heard Jimmy Carter on CNN say once that there are something like 15 to 25 major conflicts in the world at any point in time. It's rather odd.

My trading record refutes your claim that short term trading is gambling however. Perhaps for YOU, this has proven to be gambling. Long term trading for me would actually be gambling I think because I have no idea how to forecast a year ahead...

I finally got out of the last part of my short position at +205 pips. Come on market, give me another run-up so I can do that again. heheh. Well, maybe I'm bragging but that was a cool price move.

I'm rather new to real $ trading and my techniques are to scalp using fibo's and pivots plus any S/R (psycho or otherwise) I can draw a line through such as inclining or declining or sideways channels where I try to fade break outs or trade them depending upon other factors.

I find myself making 10-20 pips when I could have made much more. Thus I am drawn to the longer time framed position trade. You seem successful. Do you have any preferred techniques or resources I can learn from?
