that is so not true a large stop can work...it depends on a lot of more things then your stop., which I wont elaborate on now... but saying a large stop wont work is wrong in my opinion....

I had a good trade yesterday but put around 200pips sl,(actually it was a hedge if 200pips in minus) and made only 57pips I know the RR sucks but I took the trade anyway and it was safe really safe no stress at all. When I cant read the €$ good I used really tight sl 10-20pips so it also depends on your mind set anyway I can go on and on for hours when it comes to sl targets and all this stuff in the end its a mind thing really.

Absolutely TC, you're quite right. I feel for the newbies who might see these signal services as the 'best thing since sliced bread', but, generally speaking, newbies don't have accounts, or the nouse, to handle a 200 pip drawdown/loss......and my cynical side suggests that this is the precise reason that brokers do it!!

Looks like we can treat this thread as some kind of a contrarian indicator.

Trading has never been easier! Just check the consenus at eur/usd thread, wait for "clear signals" and open position in the opposite direction.

Just braking your balls. What I'd like to point out is - "Markets can remain illogical longer than we can remain solvent".

Better to react than predict.

good point I mean in every book you read they tell you not to follow any signal services still ppl tend to take them as pure gold.

It is the laziness and the urge to find the holy grail with no work needed.

Trading is sadly not like that there is a lot of work and lots of boring parts included, which makes me sometimes really nuts and wanting to work for someone instead of "wasting" my time at the computer hahhaha. With a lot of screen hours one starts to get the whole thing bit by bit. For me I hope I am just at the beginning of the long lasting journey.

would be 53 /42 down & sl below 29 for target not a fully formed head but can break halfway suppose 81 as bigger one to extend the neck & expected 1.2281 again perhaps before the go.

Yeah, too right. I place longs and shorts where I want.....I don't care what anyone says! I like to read the analysis from some very experienced traders on this forum, but at the end of the day, it's my money and my ass, so I'll place my trades where *I* want......and everyone should do the same.....imo

work for me soo far. As u know. reentering only cost 0.9 pips in oanda, why bother holding it. better miss out a opportunity(if got taken out but market chose to turn around @ exact spot) than going red. Well thats just me... got back 43pips just now. I am nett 23pips in 1 trade after the 13 SL hit

Again cut ur loss small, let ur profit run.
