EURO-DOLLAR: Very light flows as euro-dollar rebounds to $1.2350 as
market largely shrugs off the record TIC flow data. Earlier euro selling
by real-money accounts pressed euro down to $1.2335 area before rebound,
traders concerned about rebound risk in the pair given record short
positioning, even though they say euro remains a sell on rallies. Offers
remain $1.2370/80, clustered around the overnight high. Stops above.

My trading is on the improve....touch wood! I've spent most of my trades for the last couple of weeks with the uds/jpy pair and the odd cable trade and eu trades as well. I'm out of the eu this week until I figure out what's happening!!

Hows things in the officers mess?

EURO-DOLLAR: Squeezing through the overnight high area at $1.2373 with
marginal fresh highs to around $1.2379 at writing as supplay ahead of
$1.2380 is eroded. Stops a risk on any extended move.

Offers near 2370/80 - that is what I want to see at first. And if shoots thruogh that area - cross above would give 2430 / 40 zone then. That is the point I would like to give it again. Geben ist dann evtl. seeliger denn nehmen.

By the way trading desk of your BANK is suggesting similar estimation since this morning.

They suggested as follows :

EUR-USD :

May see temp sup towards 1.2250-35 area, but look to sell bounce up to 1.2430 for next leg lower. Stops above 1.2495 zone

Getting in before breakout, being anal about price, or closing the 2316 trade and waiting for a retrace and better price? All work for me. Requiring a good price is one of my core trading rules, and it keeps my ship watertight. Much easier to trade a good price than trade a mediocre one.

I'm rather distrustful atm...market's too noisy man. Trying to protect the perimeter rather than increase it...but soon we'll be back in charge!

Ja ist schon erstaunlich das man doch fast die gleiche ansicht hat. I mean for me the reason was the pivot at that area to short if we get there, the other short position was hence to overnight high, but just below it. Recently I have adjusted my strategies to build up positions as I then can take advantage of larger moves while still taking profits of the table. I really need some big moves up to get me out of my short and unless we are above2500 I will not even think of longs.....right now we bounced of a longer term tl on the pip exact 2395 this could have been a nice in between short, but again cant be asked about stress right now later maybe when we are near 1.16 I will go back to my 20pip per day trades.

Right with you on that one skip.......this pair could go either way at the moment.....that's why I'm staying away until I can see the battlefield clearly......

The 1hr 50sma is also at 1.2438. You can sometimes get a nice bounce from this ma.

There can be some retracement towards 1.2319/33 if possibe as per M30 buy set up perfection but as bull is very strong at this level & H1 & h4 both join the bull rally , continued long. trendline/bottom previous channel ahead at 1.2409 again for a possible bounce & take care long here.
