Yeah , they were always can be anything from few hundreds to even thousands pips from real market & make no any sense ever.May be some internal arrangements or software maintenance going on.

as many US states are in worse condition than Greece

of course one can't compare a state with a nation, especially when market speculation is moving and Europe is perceived as a total disaster

remember last year when nobody wanted the dollar?
we read anti USA e anti USD news every day, now exactly the opposite is happening on EUR

as long as speculation perceives it's able to create panic, things will not change, but when they change, they could be as quick and violent as the drop was

here is what 16000 pips look like... you will hear many euro bulls laugh and discount this chart.. look at it closely... then imagine the high on the left is the eu chart at 1.6. (2008).. the middle as high at 1.51 (2009)..... going by chart alone and not pips or time frame. getting to the high on the left is no more far fetched as then eu getting back to 1.6... this move may have just began.. then again the trend on this chart is clearly down.. but wedges rarely lie. 4 failed attempts to get back to lower blue line tell a story..

intervention can be verbal too. it is not always u go in and buy stuff.

for example, germany just declaredover weekend that they quit
eu.

No that will make eu tank but that was an example of effect a statement
like that can have on the markets

this is the first time i can recall the weekly low being just a few pips from the close. we were still moving lower at close. this normaly means move continuation at open.. but we cant discount intervention.. if move is not orderly lower.. i expect intervention during capitulation.

Hey Gator - do you recall a time when intervention has been anything more than a temporary reprieve? I've been wracking my brain, but I can't think of a time when an attempt to prevent a crash has worked.....

howevrs interventions r just temporary reprieves case in point eurchf.
