It is good to see customers all around the globe. It functions on brokers or dealers. It has profit potential from diminishing and raising price. Forex trading as great scope in finical market.

Anybody still trading this system?
What a pity that many people are looking for as complicated systems as possible and miss the best strategies that are just working thanks to their simplicity.
To my mind this system here is one of the best that is available in FF. I myself do not ever trade any system strictly by initial rules. I just look for ideas and combine them with my own knowledge. But the very basics of my main system have come from this thread.
So, hope more people find this place.

Any system will have a bad draw down period.... in my experience with threads on FF all the time things are going sweet and pips are made a thread survives

The moment you get 3 losing days or a bad week people jump ship and look for other strategies

Its a real shame because profits have to be looked at long term and not in short term gains.

That's nice to hear. I wouldn't mind for this thread to get revived. Actually, I was looking at this just before the Dance system, and I would be interested to re-examine. It's just that my trader psycology is more suited for short-term trading but I wouldn't mind developing some abilities for longer term which is what Andrew's system requires. Do you have any tips/hints about how to go about here and what kind of modifications you have applied?

Hi Kostas,

I have been using this system with a few minor minor tweaks of my own. I like clean simple charts myself.

I like shorter timeframes as well and one of the basic things I do is base direction of my trades off of the four hour and enter on the 15.

Thanks Indrek and Bluesteel. I will try demo trading on these principles. Do you use Andrew's rules for SL and TP? I guess if you fine tune your entries/exits using a smaller TF it could save you some pips (meaning if you are on a H4 and your M30 shows a reversal pattern you could get out earlier before the price touches the supertrend)?

No, I do not use supertrend for SL. I prefer to leave more room for my trades. My initial SL is usually 1,5*ATR of H4, and TP is 2*ATR. I set SL to BE at halfway (1 ATR).
I do not watch my trades more often than once per 4 hours. I never follow them on M30 timeframe and usually do not close any trades manully. I wait for either SL or TP hit.

hey guys this is pretty much the system I use. I use 4 hr time frames but very subjective. my MM makes it a LOT different also and a little bit more volatile with more at risk but higher return =D. I prefer to trade in overall direction of charts (I chart on weekly/Daily to determine 6 month direction) then i pick up trades on the 1 hr and 4 hr. I never go under 1 hr. No need, too much stress and too much of my time glued to the screen. I have my phone for that hahaha. I find it to be MUCH more profitable (at least for me ) to focus on the big picture. I think this is incredibly fun and easy and I am bummed I just need capital now (still demo)

Thanks for sharing MTF Supertrend and how you're using it. I have a couple of questions. Trading in agreement with Daily Supertrend, are you concerned with the color of the Daily Supertrend or just the fact that price is above/below the indicator?

Is this a valid entry on chart? Price and H4 Supertrend are above Daily Supertrend but color of Daily Supertrend is red.

After getting a signal on H4, if price is above Supertrend and green on 30M chart, do you enter immediately or wait for price to retrace below Supertrend and wait for a fresh signal?

You made no mention of the non lag indicator (dots). Is is part of your strategy as well?

Are you using 14 period ATR?

I trade a bit differently and always add discretion. So, I cannot comment your trades according to Andrew's system. And also not according to what I use because it always depends on what other pairs are doing. But, of course, it is safer to trade if all your indicators confirm.
I just wanted to point out the possibility to trade with higher TF confirmation. I trade MTF whatever system I use.
And I do not use ATR(14). I use ATR(120) for my SL and TP. I like longer term averages.
