closed short position from yesterday - can't wait anymore for breakout and opened long @ 1.2525 with SL way under 1.2450. looking to gain 150-200 pips. if it doesn't work out - not big deal - it's within my MM.

We might see something spectacular tonight. Looks like we could get a 500 pip drop tonight. Okay maybe not 500 but pretty big.

yeah, it's getting way too easy, I'm worried. I usually lose more than a couple of trades per week (trading just wed and thu), so far this week (all days), none. Hope the evils of overtrading and greed don't get me soon.

by looking at usd/cad, it looks like usd has much more to gain

Maybe,,,,,, The real question is what to expect then? Below 25 may be defended by some real bad dudes. The idea that the IMF would secure a trillion dollar check------- and then let the damn EUR crash without even an attempt to prop it up---------

ya - agree on this totally. Even a few THV scalps here and there is risky - tight stops and small tp's. Need not get greedy on this - just small calculated risks.

the boom is coming one way or the other -

I thought I was the lone voice here.......I agree, it's so risky, but potentially rewarding to short here......far too risky for me to contemplate. Every man and his dog is adding shorts here.....imo...it's very risky
