Hahah i got it now. We r on DST time and Tokyo isnt. Because of DST We r +2 gmt not +1. That made some confusion

DST is never implemented in Tokyo as far as I know. Its just a confusion cuz of DST implemented in US etc and not on this side of the world.

You're right...it says 'No daylight saving time in 2010'.

Why could that be...is that some kind of samurai punishment? Recession thing?

It prolly will retrace a bit. Ill sell on highs or ADX crosses confirmation .If I spot a consolidation early in the morning, Ill make some entries. But if we break 2610, we go to 2520 level, ill round it.

Hhah dunno...they havent implemented it yet..why? As far as I know, they are hard workers, DST would only prolong their labor...its to harsh for them i guess..

This dotted line should provide good resistance in this formation....I dont have any eu shorts open( wish i woulda kept one from 3055 ) but i do have ucad longs avg 1.0174. If this P.O.S. makes it above 1.27 ill be looking to short

now its time to watch the CAVS! bbl

The reversal in the stock market (opened higher then reversed and closed lower) is a classic failed rally and should increase risk aversion . But I'll wait to see what happens around 8 or 9 pm

retrace to 61.8 fib correlates with my scenario 2700 then drop poifectly. Is also the top of 1H bear Chanel. And is that valid divergence I see? Pick a fib level and good luck. Doesn't seem to have strength for a retrace. Skyzer you buying or what? Will log into broker control panel and see what they forecast.

My *guess* is this: There are institutional dip buyers jumping in and buying in the 91-92 area in anticipation of a break above 95 (or investors in Japan buying US assets like bonds while the price is still good). However, after last Thursday's crash, markets overall (equities, etc) just aren't ready to try and continue the rally that had been going on prior to it. So there are sellers emerging above the levels we were at Thursday morning, either because they doubt price will get any higher anytime soon, or they are speculating that the crash was an indication of a wider crash to come. The end result is USDJPY will be locked in a range between probably 93.50 and 91.50 or so and it will probably tighten overtime until someone says Uncle.

So my sell almost hit its target so far (92.50). But I am still thinking even a healthy consolidation should take us down towards a 38.2% retrace, which is 91.50. I think I will let half the position go and keep half of it on with a breakeven stop.

Im short eur/usd from 1.27 and eur/nzd from 1.77 holding on as it looks like the selling will continue overnight
