Yeah.. that's my ideal trading as well.. but.. the PA of late has me jumping in and out more...

I opened my dukascopy through an ib called molecule 6, and they rebate 45% o the commission you pay Dukas, so it's a great deal overall, and due to a special arrangement, they will let you open an account with as little a 10K.
I like to use 2 brokers so I can have a back up in case one of them has platform issues, noe by a process of elimination, fxcm is out.
Off with their heads !

really? It's web based...that's weird. as long as my internet works, oanda comes up on every computer I use...

Do you use the shortcut or go to the website everytime?

Guys , let's sell EUR/USD nowwww

Hello,

They're open 24/7 for trading. The rate rarely moves other than normal hours and right before/after close.

The spread does increase to 10 pips+ after normal trading hours.

You cannot hedge but you can open as many sub-accounts as you want and there is no fee whatsoever with oanda.

I have MINOR connection issues but nothing compared to ANY mt4 platform I've every used.

My connection issues to be honest though are more than like related to my outdated wireless card

Depends, I use both the software windows/java install version as well as the Java web based version. At one point, connection problems got so bad i opened an acct with Alpari US to trade spot metals. Alpari's date feed can be questionable at times. I've experienced huge candlestick spikes to where I didn't see any spiked on my ProRealTime charts. So when trading spot silver I alternate between the two brokers. Which everone is not experiencing problems for the day is the one I trade with for the day.

Though I've begged GFT to offer spot metals. I continue to beg 'em. As soon as GFT gets spot metals, I'm jumping all over that while closing my accts with the other brokers.

lost 16k today ....... now back to the old drawing board with less that 1k in my balance. still holding 1 lot eu short.... really bad day
loss 100k in Forex, up 1k, still have 99% to go!!
