FEDERAL RESERVE OPENS CREDIT LINE TO EUROPE

WASHINGTON – The Federal Reserve late Sunday opened a program to ship U.S. dollars to Europe in a move to head off a broader financial crisis on the continent.
Other central banks, including the Bank of Canada, the Bank of England, the European Central Bank, the Swiss National Bank and the Bank of Japan also are involved in the dollar swap effort.
The move comes after the European Union and International Monetary Fund pledged a nearly $1 trillion defense package for the embattled euro, hoping to calm jittery markets and halt attacks on the eurozone's weakest members. The ECB also jumped into the bond market Sunday night, saying it is ready to buy eurozone bonds to shore up liquidity in "dysfunctional" markets......

Isn't it the same methodology that let you bet on on roulette ball?! may be win may be loss, no ratio here? or I miss something? ...

500b, well now instead of Greece going bankrupt, the whole EZ will go bankrupt.
and Merkel coalition lost due to her generosity, going to 1.2350 when this dust settles.

Morning to all . then 1.29 was a true price last night . I see it up 1.2968 , nearest to 73 as the great demandline & so blindly shorting & pending also at above,hope it will work.

In a downtrend you short the rallies/resistance zones, what's so hard to understand ?
I would agree with you if we were in an uptrend, but that's not the case...
In a downtrend one is supposed to only short the rallies.
In an uptrend one is supposed to only buy the dips.
When the trend change, you take a loss.
That's simple, but not always easy to do.

My setup is based on 4H charts, so it's not a daytrade, and I'm expecting to hold this one for at least 2-3 days unless I'm stopped during this session.

But I can understand that people could feel uneasy shorting here, with all the media spinning machine working full force.

Last point, I have a stop point for the trade and a prepared plan, so the risk is controlled. There's no problems at all, at least for me...
Getting it right is NOT as important as not getting it wrong.

but in technical analysis, does that qualify as a breakaway gap?
im keen to see what the londonites are thinking right now.

its funny to be talking TA when you see that the CBs are pumping hot money into the markets...of course printing and shoving it all up my....uhm

Big boys play at night , it reached to the goal at last.he who have the heart will win .why so jumping here & there then , cool down & take the prescribed.

Perhaps enough to ease restlessness of the market . Easy shorts then & normal pa.

I cant help it. every time i look at eu chart it looks like a hanging tower w/o any foundation and soon will collapse.

buddy, trades go wrong quietly, but ego can be louder than a hailer. not many survive this market but thats what keeps people like you trading to this day.

This could be a breakaway gap, only time will tell...Perhaps London will push hard, who knows.
When you face an opportunity you can't wait for the opportunity to be confirmed, because by then it has vanished. You have to accept the risk to be wrong and take a potential loss. That's the nature of the game imho.
Getting it right is NOT as important as not getting it wrong.

if ur talking about me...I am daytrading and I was stopped out for -35 on that short earlier.sry i didn't post, i went to hit golf balls
