DislikedThe bigger the definition of spec and the more the market benefits from the liquidity. They all like to blame any decline on "speculation" but in reality, it is the market mechanism- what bank or large trader would hold euros in any decline like we've seen recently?Ignored

DislikedThe Euro is facing a huge crisis in confidence and altho it's great to see the 962bln package to help EU countries but I think the markets will soon test their resolve. 962 bln is great but with more countries paying higher bond yields for the foreseeable future (years) coupled with a slow global econ environment is it enough? I don't think we know how deep some countries may be --take Greece's creative accounting into consideration.
There will surely be intervention in the Euro but will it be effective in supporting...Ignored

Pair last 1.2902. Says 1.2932 still good resistance, despite brief blip above it, 1.2800 support for now.Ignored
DislikedAmerica itself was the beneficiary of military investment by France during the American Revolution. France's actions were somewhat self-indulgent (they hated England's monarchy also) and led to them accumulating heavy debt.
In each case, the U.S. now, and the French before, was it worth it?Ignored
Dislikedthat'strue.. although it was not just for the colonies benefit. Then the French went home. We fought a couple of wars to aid them after. But the French left after. They don't continue protecting us. Wars were fought for a common interest. Ben Frank was laying pipe..Ignored
DislikedThe U.S. did not leave Europe because of the communist threat, not because they felt the needed to be the defacto military for Europe. The point is militaries are used for a reason, and, in the end, it usually turns out to be an economic one.Ignored
