Shy buying, though factory orders up nicely. Well, no wonder when € has come down ..how much 500p/week, exports rock...

No, I am not. The Deutsche Mark was controlled by Germany. The Euro is controlled by lots of countries. It is said, too many cooks just make bad a good food. And so it is here.
It was just a matter of time until this problems came out on the surface.
The D-Mark was even used as second currency in some East-European Countries. And I could even pay my ski-Cards in Austria with it.
And nobody ordered that to happen. It just happened by itself. While the Euro was ordered, and lots of people in Germany never wanted it and still not want it. They would kiss everybody who bring back the old but strong currency.

Would be interesting to see how markets reacted if ECB would level up minimum bid rate to 1.25/1.5%

right I am sure the exporter agree with you With a strong DM Germany will never manage to get is money and will loose its advantage in the world markets...

That's very true.I think the safest thing for now is just to stay aside especially day trading.Scalpers may be lucky but long term traders need not worry as no real respite for the eur in the long term.I think the currency is doomed.

@jp09: may be but i think it's irrelevant today.
Technicans got crushed these days a lot.

Update Bank of Switzerland: News telling, that B.o.Sw. has not saying anything to their activities in market.

Right now, you can see that they support Eur/Chf again on a lower level.
I hope they don't gamble and scaling in hoping for a stronger Euro next days.
