Hagopian Trigger Lines - Andrews Pitchforks

Is it incorrect to trade the break of the hagopian trigger lines if the median line of that pitchfork has been touched please? Thank you

hagopian rule says that price will go at least below/above the latest pivot if the ml was not reached.
and in the original material the hl is a trigger line for a trade and resistance/support as well. but mostly the hl as trigger is too late.

Dr. Hagopian originally used the line as a measuring tool, as stated above, for where price would travel, at minimum, if price failed to make it to 'its most likely line'. Then there was some discussion within the group and for a time, it was considered to be a valid trigger for a new trade IF it was broken by several closes.

But as it was suggested above, there are much better ways to enter trades in this direction--the Hagopian Trigger is far too late and you will find yourself with an uncomfortable stop. These are only vaguely useful when trading dailies/weeklies and monthlies and then only if you can find no pivots to work with. MOST traders here are not in that position-and even if you are trading D,W,M, like Dr. Andrews, there are better ways to grab a position in that direction well before the Hagopian Trigger Line. Unfortunately, this was a concept that was recycled by a writer or two that saw the term in the original course, didn't have the benefit of being around Dr. Andrews in his prime and also did not do the homework to see that better methods were available.

But that's just my 8 cents.
