Friday es gets a beating NOT because GDP was worse than expected due to GS being downgraded by s&p ... i can only imagine how that conversation went between GS ceo and s&p ratings head guy and how many billions were made by gs ( I bet enough to pay off sec fine )

No Japan but Chinese shares take a beating in bank sector cause fraudsters GS downgraded.

London closed ... who knows maybe euro session will take eu down to new lows on daily and we will have a 300 pip range day.

There is no such thing as random walk in this market and no such things as surprises ....

Hello

Looks like a major down move may take place later in the day today.

My charts saying likely target: T1: 1.3020 if not lower.

T2: Open

I have a feeling we are going to see a special move when European markets open.

Although I might sound biased and analysis of the situation might be flawed, here is what I think:

Greece gets a lifeline, Germany pays 28% of the EZ part of the bailout, how will the stock market react?? I dont know, if my country decided to throw money, meant to make my life better, to charity, I wouldn't trust it and my sentiment would show it. So I expect a move lower.

Been awake for almost 24+ hours and drinking so please point out how wrong I am.

Anyway I have some short positions from some time back I am holding onto those. No new trades for me.

any meta gurus out there. i downloaded the new windows to replace vista. i cant get meta now to acknowledge i have a connection. also i cant find old charts.. any suggestions?

Windows 7?

Meta works fine on mine although I did do a fresh install.

can you access old charts on another machine? I had a similar problem, I saved the charts as templates and transferred.

Nice to wake up with good profit, trades open over the weekend.
4hr tf and bearish div (RSI) did the job, good time to close at 1.32 for a bounce and reload.
They think they are smarter than I am.

Sorry man, I'm still running on Vista. But, I'd bet that a fresh install of meta would be required. I'll have to check what the latest package supports....

On the tabs at the bottom (Trade, Account History, News, etc.) the last one should be Journal. Check and see if it gives you an error code or connection issue, something like that.

Did you already reinstall MT4?

which broker are you with? I know myself with FXDD when I reinstall my platform and change my laptop the server address was not right.

if it is FXDD I can give you the server name that you have to put in the server box.
