ok, 30 Billion from the IMF, 17% of that from the USA is 5.1 Billion. Now since I am one of the ~50,000,000 US citizens who actually pay some tax, that means Greece owes me $102. Ima want that back, with interest. I will not take olives or furburger either....

Elliott projection down to 1.3186 from 1.3692 on a weekly basis

Downside canceled if crossed above 1.3415 on clôture basis

Market opened at 1.3299 - 1.3304 - yes but Highest was at around 3348 (!) until now - exactly.

...at least in the long run, the euro has to continue to come down against the USD at least until the US starts bailing out bankrupt states - then the Euro should swing back up. All we have here is an acceleration of competitive devaluation of fiat currencies.

Well, Im gonna go to sleep and wake up before london.. there's no big gap and also it's bank holiday in Japan, don't think that anything happens..

Hoping for short at 1.3400 but this level may not be reached, cause it's last significant high, and if reached then not even Elliot knows what happens next lol

EUR/USD To Grind Up, Mkts Digesting Greece Aid Deal


2055 GMT [Dow Jones] EUR/USD likely to grind higher on day as markets digest aid package for debt-laden Greece, with initial resistance around 1.3410, says Bank of NZ strategist Mike Jones. Pair last 1.3344. On downside, tips support to hold at 1.3280. Says pair "in a bit of a twilight zone at the moment as people digest details of the package." Also, important to note package not fully confirmed yet; "there are still a few hoops to jump through in terms of European agreement." While looking likely, could be a "sideways chop" until confirmation, more detail.

I find it very relevant to the situation.

Just what is going on here? A month ago the various players were quibbling about the willingness or even ability to come up with $30 billion for Greece. Suddenly they announce that they will in combination deliver $145 billion for the payment of the Greek obligations????

This raises many interesting questions.
1) Where is this money coming from? One must assume the ink is still wet.
2)Where is it going to? Who bought up devalued Greek debt at a discount?
3)How is such a large bailout justified? My information placed the total Greek debt at $400-$450 billion.
4)Will ordinary Greeks be allowed to emmigrate to other countries? Or will they be confined as perpetual slaves for the duration. Unless astroids suddenly rain gold on the country, this new debt even at low rates will never be repaid.
5)How much were Moodys and S&P paid to deliver the latest and totally unnesesary debt downgrade?
The list goes on...my fingers and your interest weaken. How far can they stretch the credulity of the markets?
