Hi Geoff,

I just tested it with the default settings with "Longs" only feature activated under the Expert properties.

See the Result http://cdn.forexfactory.com/images/s.../yim/happy.gif -- I don't know whether we can do that without taking the short positions into considerations....

I don't have much data ... just tested for the month of April. Somebody can test it over a period of time and post the results !!!

Yes you are correct, the pc must be switched on for the entire time that the trade is open and, during this time you pc must not be allowed to hybernate or restart for Micros**t upgrades or anything else that will interfere with the normal operation of MT4.

Im using IKOFX and here wat happened that day..

I open my platform n activate EA around GMT 0 and let it for 20minutes.

Then i shutdown my laptop and brought it to my office....Later around GMT4 i on my laptop just to see the market and off it back after 15 minutes.....then once again on my laptop at GMT 6 for a while n noticed 3 out of 4 trades already closed...(GBP/Usd n GBP/Jpy)......

at GMT 11 all the tradings were closed......i gain $14...with 0.1 lot size $100 deposit....

So, can explain hw does this EA managed to do the tradings.....??? ur help much appreciated.....

This is something that I have thought about, when we were on v3 I also made a v4 that only placed one order but it was soon overshadowed by the success of v5 and became neglected.

A single order version would use very different settings from the two order system so I think it is probably wise to keep it as a separate EA, maybe I will restore v4 and bring it up to date!

I must admit, I never thought to see whether longs or shorts gave the most errors, thank you Ganesh I will check it out!

I attach the corrected files and I have also removed the GMT time from the display, that didn't work either!

What does the line RiskPercent mean? v5a it was 3, v6 it is 10?

You can use fractions of 1% (eg 0.12) up to 100%!

I am testing the different versions of this EA.... Thanks

Can you add the ability to add a "Comment" for the trades that I can change. With that I can put different versions on the different charts of the same account and be able to distinguish between the trades.... it will tell me which EA executed the trade.

Hi Sandra

The start time is now fixed at 23:00 GMT so you only need to change the GMT offset from your broker time and the start time will be ok.

I have added some examples of GMT offsets in post #1 and this list can be added to in future.

In v6 there is a setting "trade_comment", double click on the default comment and you will find that you can edit it to suit yourself.

The same option has been added for the magic number to be changed!

I will still use 5a because Im comfortable with it. The bugs Taiyakixz find in ver 6 are they in ver 5a?
