Weeell... since you asked, and since I'm primarily a pivot trader, I wouldn't short it from here just yet (see chart) OR I'd be real careful about doing so, AND I imagine Frankie will bust every stop in sight that's still standing before turning the reins over to the London gang.

and there's a Psych level at xx20 don't forget...

It sure has been. Over the last several weeks I can't help but look at this chart to help me across the board even though I consider my positions here long term. Been very handy for me lately.

maybe so but look at usd/chf june/july/august, it was stuck in current range for 15 weeks. i dont know, my plan is basically gonna short usd/chf until i see gbp/jpy at 146 and then il short that. chances of it working out is XX%. lol.

I've been following your posts day by day, and it is really beneficial to me to follow the advises that I read here, (although confusing sometimes!!!),

would you guys advice for a short hit now? or we are still expecting more dramatic up-word slops?

i think many people know this as u mentioned, when risk gets sold, yen pairs get sold harder then usd pairs. though, there may have been a time period usd pairs were sold harder.

i know about the W, but i also see 13 weeks it was in 400 pip range 1.10-1.06 last June/July/August. I'd rather play the range than spend the next 50 days for it to clear 1.09.

it depends on the correlative actions. yesterday was pretty clear that it was all Yen until just before the announcement.

charted below....
if USD had been strong, dollar yen would not have been dragged down along all day...see red box.

Now the real buying in USD only came after the ratings announcement. See how dollar holds up vs Yen while Eur sells in the blue box....

Agreed. Be patient and wait for a good price. Maybe it does go down heavily, but in my limited experience rushing in (shorts at this level) is almost always a bad move.

i was nett short dollar (long eurusd and short usdjpy) which was sort of neutral but was alot heavier on the euro side (thats why i got my ass kicked). when Yen's and euro's motion sync, we could vaguely guess that the crosses are making a ruckus. and boy were they were all over the house yesterday.

It was like dollar was shit, but euro...well euro was shit-tier?

kinda late..but some targets where you can expect pullbacks ect.
target # plus slip then resume is the norm.. these are counter-trend.. be careful.. add in daily fibs ect. 3215 is a big # and will get like concrete eventualy.. 3337 and whatever else you see on charts..

some already crossed . ill post anyway..

good morning everyone.
I am neutral right now looking for a good entry but might just take today off as FOMC tonight and expect sideways moves.
When considering FOMC, there is really nothing that can help € I must admit.
Should they change the language it will drag € should they hint anything about raising interest rates that will kill €,

Should we get € back to strength for whatever reason I have the following pending orders to short her:
3277
3340
3380
3417
3440
3500

Targets:will be the same as entries just the other way around just the first 2 will be held till 3156 and 3100.

This all longer term and has nothing to do with my usual trading.
Still will take positions in regards to pivots etc etc...
