I do not mean a major bottom. At least a short term bottom / low will be put when my indicators line up. It's not just stochastic with specific settings, but a few other factors too. And I will post here when the market is ready for it with potential upside targets too. But I said, no reason to call a short term low yet. I still do not see my favorite setup.

So you dollar cost average at different levels scaling in using same size lots ie

Buy 1 @ 1.38
Buy 1 @ 1.37
Buy 1 @ 1.36
Buy 1 @ 1.35
Buy 1 @ 1.34

Average is 1.36, so aim to sell at 1.36+? IMO you are playing with fire, because that is acceptable strategy in an up trend, not in a down trend.
Prices oscillate, trends persist. Trend is your friend.

1 es is about 3600 margin requirement and 10 point move aginast you , you have lost 1 k just like that

i would stick to fx for now... but that is just me.

Please lets go back to the topic.. I don't say same lot sizes, that's what I

mean by

0.10/0.20/0.30 and so on.. lower/higher it goes against more you bet

and it's reasonable.. And I say catching waves.. My entries now

starts from 1.3186... Count from there.. ok? And wait till 1.34

next week.. That's where your Indy will sound buy alarm..

Be reasonable.. Did EU went from 1.3205 to 1.3420 couple of days ago?

Ok now 1.3050 to 1.33+ And I'm buying below 1.32 like money in the

bank.. Just watch.. Should it go lower? even better.

That is hilarious. I do the SAME thing and come out good too. But now I am long too. I probably go long about twice a month, short about 200. It feels like I'm on that old show "Fear Factor", where people do crazy-scary things like get in a tank for 2 minutes with a thousand spiders and get paid if they make it. I wish I knew how to post a vid of that-cuz that's how I feel at .3170.

no bad idea skyzwe!!, my account is big, and I want to build long between 1.29 -1.32 range with small size 0.1.0.2 etc,

all depend that you account size.

thanks malcolmb....I think ur right im gonna wait till I have more capital. Since im in the us it directed me to lind-waldock, i guess its a sub for MF. I opened a demo though.

Legging into a position works you just have to find S/R on your charts...i sold EU/JPY Friday at 125...watched it get me down over 100 pips but was waiting for a test of 127 to add lots to my trade thinking 12790 would be last stand RES....got out today w/o adding...i dont see any problems with Skyz buying...if you plan on averaging your way in...but at the same time looking at S/R zones on charts with some TLs there have been fairly easy buy/sells w/o adding lots and waiting for trades to turn positive...just remember theres more than one way to skin a cat

I'm not in this pair, but if I felt like scalping a long, it would be right here. Trouble is it's the end of the day and the trend is down. I would not trade at this time.
