after the asian market opening candle closes then the EA will take a trade. might be LONG tonight.

Hi Geoff

When I read Your first post I think EA is supposed to place a trade immediately after trade start.
But it does not.(Not today, not in backtest) What is the logic behind a trade place?

Is not 1.54792 over SMA10? It is on IBFX and as I can see on Alpary.

If I understand correct EA should buy?

FXDD uses GMT+3.

Geoffs setting GMT offset=0, Start time =1 on Alpary must be start time 23 GMT

That would be correct, but I would wait until I could get an answer about the actual backtested times before I would trade it for real money.

Chaps, dont forget that UK time is currently BST, which is gmt+1

I donīt think its correct if You will have the same settings as Geoff. His setting on Alpary UK: GMT offset=0, Start time =1.

You use FXDD. FXDD is 1 hour after Alpary. So Your setting
GMT offset=0, Start time=2 ore
GMT offset=3, Start time =23

Geoffs start time=01 Alpary=02FXDD=23.00GMT

I got 2 shorts at exactly 25 minutes after Tokyo open using Alpari UK demo...and to be honest, while being happy that GBPUSD is lower now, I do not really understand why it sold either......
