S&P to push higher and test the key 1230-1235 resistance level. The result of the test of the critical S&P level will in my opinion will be VERY telling for the future direction of risk. Also, two very important markets have shown the possibility of an ending diagonal in the 5th wave positions on the daily charts. The US 10 yr bond yield looks to be in wave 5 of the 5th wave ending diagonal pointing towards test and abrupt failure of 4.00-4.10%. Similarly, EURUSD looks to be in wave 4 up within the 5th wave ending diagonal, with a final test in 5-of-5 down to 1.3000 to complete the entire pattern. The successful completion of these patterns will have significant implications for the intermarket relationships of the 4 major asset classes

Congrats on holding the position. When UJ moves it really moves. I am a complete noob at trading UJ and don't pretend to know the fundamentals of the Yen. Technically we should see some consolidation following the stellar performance. I was also positioned to go long EU, however missed a couple of entries by a few pips so was not able to fully capitalise on my plan. Fortunately G/U proved excellent earner. The gap according to my calculations from both pattern analysis and the average moves is for it not to occur as previously happened. Wouldn't bank on it though. Intermediate term players are still positioned short this pair. I have been very active this past week in the forum and I need to take a break soon. Seems to be a greater proportion of trade-for-fun traders.

Good day !
as we seen on friday , EU made a very confusing move and more confusing close price , at a very important level ,
after having the hopes that EU have finaly broke down the support trend , price suddenly bulled back up and broke up the upper trend of the triangle , and closed the daily candle on a green candle ,
so the question now comes to us , is that move considered a break up ? or a break down ?
of course we are considering the two ways with the following supporting data ,
as an end of a week and close of market that was bear on weekly , last day shown take profits of shorts are the same support line making traders confused , but in the other hand , the up move that market have shown was too much

As for Monday, I don't know which way to call it but, I think it will hit 1.27 or lower in months rather than next year. Big stop needed for that though.

overall maybe but , one example is belgium , eurozone country and has not been in picture yet , and still their deficit per citizin is even higher then united states , and that for a country not mentionned yet

Merkel says Greek aid depends on 'credible' savings plan

German Chancellor Merkel has said the Greek government must satisfy "very stringent conditions" for aid before Germany loosens its purse strings.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, whose government has been reluctant to help Greece, declared that the rescue package would be activated only if the stability of the euro was threatened and Athens implemented tough policies.

Merkel insisted that Greece "must play its part in ensuring that Greece's finances return to a solid path ... The stability of our currency is the first priority."

Prospects look bleak for the USGovt finances, which must greatly devaluate the USDollar and accept lower value for its sovereign
debt in the form of USTreasurys. Action must be taken, if not from higher long-term interest rates, then from a lower US$ exchange rate.
In fact, a higher interest rate imposes damage to foreign creditors and Wall Street speculators, surely to USEconomy participants.
It raises USGovt borrowing costs too. But a US$ devaluation harms foreign creditors and USEconomy participants from higher import costs,
higher commodity prices. The US$ devaluation spares Wall Street the most pain, which can short the US DX index with advanced notice and
insider information, their speciality. Worse, the USDollar must be devalued according to the federal guarantees for mortgage agency debt
(see Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac) and credit derivative backstops (see JPMorgan and AIG, but also Fannie Mae).

Senate probe finds evidence Goldman profited on collapse
Goldman Sachs made a windfall betting against the mortgage market even though it stated in its 2009 annual report to investors that it “did not generate enormous net revenues by betting against residential related products”, according to initial findings of a Senate investigation into the bank.

Lloyd Blankfein, the chairman and chief executive of Goldman, said in November 2007 email exchange with other top executives that was released: “Of course we didn’t dodge the mortgage mess. We lost money, then made more than we lost because of shorts.”

And so everytime some noob posts a weekend price you Feel the Need to counter it with a different one when neither one of them make any difference whatsoever... and then some other noob chimes in with yet another quote from another borker, and then...

trader801 used to do that every couple hours or so as a "community service" here for weeks and drove people nuts... like if someone REALLY wanted to know the off market weekend price, they COULDN'T LOOK IT UP FOR THEIRSELF instead of adding to the Noise??

they never work on a long term timeframe.

indicators are the closest thing.

they give you a signal and you do the analysis before pulling the trigger.
