One thing to note in v5, at the bottom of the settings you can select Mini or Micro accounts, make sure the correct one of these is set to true.

I did test run it,didn't get any errors,but there wasn't any setting available for mini or micro accounts.

But I have since replaced it with 5a version,and the setting are there.

your hard works appreciated.

I had two and they hit the SL today. My first losses BUT I'm glad to have them out of the way and next week will be a new beginning.

Interesting strategy, but with a ratio of about 1:7 take profit 22: stop loss 140 it's quite risky, no ? When you have a losing trade then after it takes 7 winning trades to make up, did i understand correctly ?

Yes TP 22, but there is a second order with TSL 22, makes a difference but I agree the win/loss ratio is not brilliant.

I prefer an occasional large loss rather than multiple small ones and the back testing shows maybe 1 losing trade per month.

I can live with that!

AAGH! I hate stoplosses!

It only got halfway towards my stoploss and now it has recovered slightly.

I will have to keep my fingers crossed that it goes back up next week!

Hey Geoff... I noticed that you reduced TP2 to 49 from 400 in V5a?

Just wondering why? I though there was a TSL on tp2?

Yes, when I ran the optimiser I got a good peak at 49.

I guess the trailing stop can take away from the maximum profit if it's allowed to trigger, whereas grabbing the profit before it trickles away makes a big difference to the bottom line!

Does that make sense?

Sounds good to me.. I will go LIVE next week with V5a.
I have set to trade manually and lot size is 0.1 ($1 pip), just to clarify.. if I leave it like this it will open up two 0,1 lots per position..
1st position SL is 140 and 2nd position Sl is 140 too.. so all together risk is 280 pips?

Hope you understand..

Yes, this will create 2 order at 0.1 lots each and both stoplosses are 140.

I am forward testing on a micro account so I have set my lots to 0.05 so my overall risk is only $1 x 140.

To be honest, with better than 90% accuracy I'm not too worried that the stoploss will get hit.
