[Dow Jones] Greece has finally bitten the bullet and formally asked for a bailout, with the prime minister telling the Greek people in almost science fiction-like language that they've officially requested "from our partners the activation of the support mechanism." Back here on US shores, we've had plenty of our own "support mechanism" activations, thanks to Uncle Sam, so no snickering, citizens. One of those supports, the homebuyer tax credit expires next week, but we should see some of its positive effects on March new home sales, due at 10:00am. Before that, durable goods orders at 8:30am. Microsoft and Amazon both lower premarket following quarterly reports late yesterday. USD index recently at 81.63. S&P futures up 4.10; 10-yr lower, yield at 3.79%.

[Dow Jones] As the market waits to see how and when a EU/IMF package will be made available to Greece, Morgan Stanley suggests that the IMF portion could come first, followed by contributions from those countries such as France and the Netherlands that have already got parliamentary approval. "Hence," the bank says, "the delay in parliamentary approval in Germany of the raise in the guarantees for KfW should not stand in the way of disbursing the first tranches of the aid package."

I caught wind of Spain and Portugal hard economic times yesterday evening. Was a little surprised but no worried for the Eur. All eyes are on Greece and after whats happening with Greece's reputation, they are the most embarrassed country in the world at the moment, I don't think Portugal nor Spain will follow the route Greece. Instead I believe those countries may seek some "under the table" deals with the EU, North America, and/or Asia.

A bullish inside bar has developed on the hr. Will not play it as lately I've losing trades when a inside bar develops. I know this as my trading journal list all of my latest signals in the past 3 months and there are a lot of negative numbers next to "Inside Bar Entry Signal"
