MNI EURO-DOLLAR TECHS: Holding Above Former Channel Resistance Line
RES 4: $1.3819 High 17 Mar
RES 3: $1.3676/92 Current top of Bollinger band, High 12 Apr
RES 2: $1.3551 Resistance line from Mar 17
RES 1: $1.3544 5-day moving average
CURRENT LEVEL: $1.3495
SUP 1: $1.3416 Low 19 Apr
SUP 2: $1.3386 Former channel resistance line from Dec 3, now support
SUP 3: $1.3270/75 Low 25 Mar, 8 Apr, Bollinger band base
SUP 4: $1.3246/50 Low 6 May, 50% projection level
COMMENTARY: Euro is still consolidating its recent downtrend break from
Dec 3, which is now seen as important support at $1.3386 -- falling 18
pips/day. Whilst above here, the m/t outlook remains constructive given
the continued bull-divergence signals on daily studies. Break above
5-DMA at $1.3544 favours $1.3551 -- resistance line from Mar 17.

USD appears to be in early wave 5 on Daily chart (bull flag). I expect a double bottom at 80 zone to initiate a move to re-test 2008 close of 82.5.
Ignored
It's going to retest 78 before 82.5 (I think you can forget that number,

maybe next time after 72 in couple of years)

I have to admit my hedge was/is placed badly and a long at 3480 now looks attractive I will do the same and go net long at 80.

Have had a pending long set at 3479 for an hour or so. Missed yesterday's move.......Had a long pending at 3414 with 100p TP and it missed me by 2p on my platform. A lot of the move had taken place before I could check it..... Maybe this one will work out for 60p or so,

Well - I do not agree with you in this case. I know - that they are often stopped out - if you stick to their levels by looking for their entry and exit levels with a visulet-lens.

But it is interesting to see - that they re-inforce their view again and again - just adjusting the entry levels a bit to the upside once more.

Overall - they stick to their plans.

Nobody must jump into the market just because another party has mentioned / suggested this.

And exactly - as someone has been saying here already - why not use it as a kind...

Ich könnte nicht mehr zustimmen. Wann immer "pro" oder Makler Signale geben, habe ich immer zu raten, das Gegenteil zu tun.

EURO-DOLLAR: Tech traders note the bullish hammer close Monday and see
more room on the topside but are wary of buying around current levels
($1.3494). One trader says he would be more tempted to go long on a dip
back to $1.3480, placing a stops at $1.3450 and looking for a move up to
$1.3545/50 ahead of $1.3575/85. If euro-dollar can do what cable has
done, achieving its 76.4% retrace, then rate could have room to push on
to $1.3627.

To get to 78 it has to break 79.5 support on weekly trend, so it is a counter trend prediction. 82.5 on the other hand would mean USD stays within weekly trend & re-tests reaction highs.

Looks like Euro to test the 1.3480.

No indicators are implying a reversal to bullish....still holding and watching!

I made an inverted h&s call on eu a couple of weeks ago

Its h&s on usdx

79.5 is the neckline which will almost certainly give way to 78

usdx looking topy against 81 which is long term support(turned resistance) going back 20 years

dollar is due for a beating, its only a matter of when

this move down on eu was nothing but a 50% retrace of last years drop to 74 on usdx

We shall see. In the end they are just predictions, mid term I trade facts. USD may look toppy, but it is still in a bull phase as 79.5 is weekly support.

Called the short perfectly. Will most likely hold my short position until I clear 20 pips or if price heads back to break even.

EURO-DOLLAR: Easing lower for trade around $1.3475 area and amid muted
flows, one trader contending that $1.3450 and $1.3500 expiries likely to
contain the pair over the next hour and change. Earlier, spec names seen
as euro sellers atop $1.3500 area, jobbing the market after buying
around current levels. Light chatter of ACB sales atop $1.3500 also
making the rounds. Offers remain around $1.3525, stops above. Bids noted
earlier around $1.3470.

It's above pivot, so 80% chances EU going higher 20% lower.

I'm trying to get Long Entry on EU from above Pivot to below 1.3480 area, if possible.

We are above daily pivot but under Weekly pivot,
wich worries me a little as i am long eu...
