We had the cockroach story earlier today, now we have the mafia story. David Goldman (no relation…lol) in his seekingalpha piece says the SEC have nailed a 32-year old Goldman Sachs Vice President and he appears to be “singing”. David says investment banks are not like the mafia…….no one takes a twenty year sentence and keeps their mouth shut!
The SEC report says the Paulson hedge fund picked 100 RMBS it expected to experience credit events in the near future and informed Goldman Sachs that it wanted the identified RMBS bonds or bonds with similar characteristics included in a CDO. Goldman Sachs of course sold the CDO to investors whilst selling protection to Paulson. The investors lost $1bln – Paulson pocketed $1bln. Hmmmmmmmm

closed short from 3438 with 1pip profit will try and re-enter short at 3462 3480 and 3518. Inverted hammer on 15min made me rethink the downwards momentum. Pendings in place and I am out.

eurusd is trying to 'catch' mid/long term low imo
uptrend (started in 2000) is slowly comin back. we should not get lower than 3250
but unfortunately 1.3 could not be ruled out

if you trade mid/long term - this is time to build your position

I don't think so. If you had 500 million to put your money in. Would you try to pick tops and bottoms?

Or would you rather a trend looks like it is forming before you put your money in? It might look like a bottom now, but how sure are you that it will not go further down?

If I had that much money, I would at least wait for price to show a trend before dumping mroe money in. I have already waited for a few months, what is another few weeks?

On my daily chart we are in downward channel, now we even break through 61.8 fibo of upmove which is confirmation for me that we going to the bottom of the channel...

I am a mid term trader & I wouldn't build anything here personally as it is not a bullish basing period IMO on longer term basis, short term maybe, but for long term I need to see more positive activity in price, so far weekly down trend resistance is still there 1.3818, not tagged even once.
Prices oscillate, trends persist. Trend is your friend.

I use the sam approach, simple and powerful.
Now, one time is to say this things the other is to do what you say which I usually cannot.

I suspect today may well be the obligatory down day for the week

Longs loaded with a one or two bullets pending at 1.3405 and 1.3385

Only a weekly close below 1.338 will cause me to reconsider.
