I agree. Your wisdom is sound but your timing sucks. I'm still of the opinion the US will see a double dip. The truth is, the Dollar is still a safe haven. When you look at where money flows in a down turn it moves to T-bills and other things (Gold as well). The markets are all screwy at the moment which equates to indecision (consolidation is a bottom/top signal, often giving one final stab in the direction of the trend). The EUR may see a rebound this year and the Dow may rise above 1300, but sooner or later (after the elections) the FED will raze rates. Beware November/December.

Good analysis (which is usually what happens) but that does not say when the gap will get filled. Don't forget...the gap up last week was filled just hours before market close, almost 5 days later. In other words, we may hang at the lows or make new lows for days before filling the gap or we may go to fill the gap in the next 4 hours. Too early to conclude anything in my opinion...Asian session open should provide a clearer picture.

I assume you are very bearish with the rug comment at the moment...which is more of a bias based on market psychology and behavior...could be something there...

For now finding support at 20 daily average. I am still trade free for now. Need daily cycle to run its course.

Right now I'm actually long on EU but short on other correlated pairs. My long is a short-term trade while the other ones are longer-term. If we get to 3488 I lock in profit.

Good trade. I too am still bearish as I have been for the past 3 years LOL. However, the possibility to retest last week's high is still strong based on what I see on the charts (the move down from 1.37 to 1.35 seemed like a consolidation at best) which is why I will remain flat probably until US session. I do not want to take any longs as they seem too risky (given the overall strength of the dollar) and do not want to take any shorts at these levels since to go any lower now would mean retesting the 1.32xx lows. In other words...current pa is right in the middle, no strong support levels in sight or resistance levels, simply a battle zone.

nice high probability trade (closed at 95) - still bearish though - but, the pips were just there for taking.
