So how bad is trading forex in US right now?

It seems like within the laste year or so the cftc and nfa have proposed lots of changes for retail forex trading. Ive been away for months and I'm wondering how many of these changes ended up making it through?

I've been with Oanda for a year and half and haven't noticed anything different.

Did Oanda change leverages at all? I know they were talking about 100:1 and 10:1 leverage changes. Also the other question is, did that daytrading rule ever get passed which would only allow u to trade I think like 3 trades a week if didn't have at least 25k in your account?

Rules prohibiting "hedging" (i.e., having opposing trades in the same currency pair in the same account) went into effect last year, also requirements for all brokers to adoopt FIFO trading, but none of that affected Oanda, where I trade.

Margin reduction rule is still pending

The day trading rule applies only to stocks.
