Looks like fibre has dropped to 1.3492 on Oanda - anyone think that we will gap DOWN significantly this week!? (hope so, I've some shorts open from Fri!).

If so what is the best play? The wisdom I believe is to short a gap up and long a gap down, however what with all the anti EUR sentiment at the moment I would be tempted to leave the trade running.

Also...anybody think that the Volcano issue will affect GBP this week -

I like this chart and it fits my second scenario:

Mon Open .3437 down to 3356 8am up to 3550 between 11 and 4pm Close around 3396

Tue up to 3437 5-6 am down to 3340 daytime (Can probably buy every dip up to .3640

Wed sideways at 3340 up to around 8am and then head north till .3640.

All the EUR pairs have gone up significantly today.. EUR/GBP at .885 which was .877 on last Friday..

If any of you guys can confirm that it would be much appreciated..

Yeah, I have 1.3589 on FXCM; What made it go up over the weekend?
It should have gone down; I guess more Bull S.... from Europe

Another interesting statistic. So far Eur down trend stopped at 1.32s. That stop or pause coincides with USD re-testing 2008 close from below. Re-test created a pullback, but not a big one. USD sitting above 80 a historically key zone and below 82.15 whish is 2008 close. So we have congestion, but one thing worth mentioning is that on monthly chart USD's RSI is pointing down, not up.
Prices oscillate, trends persist. Trend is your friend.

The following analysis in red is based on one time line running into the future viewed on 1H and 4H data. There's some variance between the two time frames. The second scenario in blue is a completely different time line and while both time lines correlate Mon,Tue there's a definite split on Wednesday between the two different realities. Notice second time line distortion Correlates to possible phantom data in the first time line and between same time line analysis on two different time frames 1hr/4hr.

SUN
Open 1.3437 Sell [4H SHOWS spike up to .3469 .3509]
mon Open .3437
Mon
Double dip 8am and 10am Buy 1H 1.3333 [H4 3355-60]
down to 3356 8am
Double try/fail 1.3396 Sell. at 4-8 [4H .3437]

8-12 (Second try could be a phantom candle sell at first touch)
Up to 3550 between 11 and 4pm Close around 3396
Close 1.3562-42 Midnight 10 20 pip drop Buy

12-4am 4hr phantom candles up to .3430's 04-08am
Tue up to 3437 5-6 am

7-8am up to 1.3437 H1 .3455 by 11 am sell [h4 .3465]
12-4pm down to 3330 H1 [h4 .3360] (Can prolly sell every rally down to 1.3100 from here)

(the opposite in a depression)... next large downturn i will try to hold the kiwi aud cad for long term against older markets. 11/12 week charts indicate with bear a wedge we may correct lower.. now whether or not greece created the wedges is unknown to me. so charts may be distorted. we also had china talk about trying to get a handle on growth during the same period so it may helped wedges form. rule of 72 says this can not go on forever. when in bliss look out the window like dow 14k.. or even the recent high. when everyone is a buyer there are no sellers. when no one will sell no one buys. splat.. those wedges can go up forever break h tl ect. we are less the 100 pips away from bottom tl atm.. if broken you can then use a clone minic of the upper tl. if that broken it may go on a very long time.. beyond 2008/09 lows.. it will be amplfied on eu.. dow is in a bear wedge too...

Here is Dow weekly chart I posted at fattail last couple of weeks ago, not saying this is the top, just likelihood of a pullback that may lead to something else.

If my data is correct and we hit .3160ish a 300 pip spike would take us a few pips shy of 61.8 of the whole move down starting at 3pm on the 14th!!!
