Hi Sonic,

First,thanks very much for sharing your trading system.I am a newbee to sonic v3.I have attached a screenshot and require your adivse how to overcome.I was on EUR/USD short yesterday as per wave and the sonic dragon,it should have gone down,but it went up.

i think sonic indicator is better use in 15 minutes time frame than 5 minutes, to avoid the false signal.. but it still down few points, right??

You should have entered on they way up, not the way down, since the trend was seeming to go up....

Hi,

If you the attachment,the price L to H and went HH,when i was looking for the price will go HH again,it didnt,so i expected that that price will go down & wanted to take the trade which is below the sonic dragon,but failed.I am trying to understand much of wave analysis & what my mistakes.Do we need to look for 3 waves and trend change or 5 waves for trend change.Pls help.

If you pay attention to TAH Post 11719, he shows the possible trend, and a probable entry, actually if you go to page 782 you'll see we talking alot about it there, for what I see here sonicr traders use to use the 15m TF that gives you a better view of the trend and a consolidation of it. Also keep an eye on the higher TF to see where it's going to go.
If we consider that pattern as a double bottom on the 4hTF or DTF that reached only the 38.2, so there is some more leg to go. One last thing, pay attention to S&R's
take a look at them on the second chart on 15m TF


ps, the upper ones are "possibles" S&R's

1. how to understand the NVO???
1. NVO. It's the indicator that shows the relative increased tick volume per candle.
The true volume is only known to the first-hand brokers. However, it is assumed that
increased activity in tick count is a result of increased volume. So there you have it.
Default setting is 10, which means that it shows relative tick volume for the last 10 candles.

How to use it? It does not give you the direction, it just shows you that something is happening.
It basically is an alert for the increased trading, so use it as an alert. Sonicdeejay himself
paid attention to it, while ddaytrader and Muhammad did not. Since SonicR is not about NVO,
it works perfectly without it. But it is your choice.

The "socially acceptable" timeframe of SonicR system is M15, since M5 gives too many fake setups.

We all do need more practicing, the problem is we are in such a hurry to get rich or to earn money for our living from this system, that most of losers skip this part and forget that they need to practice and practice.

Just to optimize your results, share them, see you can some other traders opinion on it.

There is another thing that I want to mention here :
From the beginning of our life, many people around us believe and made us believe this :
win = being righ
loss = being wrong
But it's not tue in this business. It's not about being right or wrong. It's about what works in longterm. If you loss, It doesn't mean you're wrong. You just can filter you trades to optimize your results, but that doesn't meant you're right or wrong.

Let me ask people who thinks this way one think, If the trade that you believe is "wrong" or "against trend" or etc, worked in the way that the mentioned trader trades, what was your reaction then ?
I'm sure many of you was surprize of how he spotted the correct point of the reversal or etc.


MG, I'm just using your post to say my experience of these reactioned that I'd seen before.

Amlavor, these kind of judgement is produced AFTER price moves. please through out "You should have done ...", "I should have done ..." , "If ..."
These are some sentences that prevents you to see what you should see most of the time. We all take counter trend trades, some of them are profitable, and some are losers, It's on you to maximise your winners and minimize your losses. so I believe it's better to recommend to traders "how you could've filtered your trade" instead of "you should've done ..."

I know you meant MG could've filtered his trade with trading with that uptrend, but the things is important (in my opinion) is HOW YOU SAY IT.

And Again people, It's not a holly grail, we all have losses. You can't eliminate all of them.

MG and Amlavor, my post is not directed just to you. and don't take it personal. People who knew me, know that I sometimes use traders post to say some of my experiences.

DD, there is not only one system that works in this system, and I'm sure you know that. And I know you wanted to express what worked for you. You don't believe in Pin Bars, Indicators, or anything else. But that doesn't mean they don't work. I also don't believe much in indicators. I'm not defensing anything. But there is many different ways to grab some profit from this market.

I believe in you and I admired you and I will. But the thing is many other traders are making profit with what you don't believe in.

That's where personallity serves an important role while someone trading with a method. I'm sure that the method you mentioned works. But as you know, it may not work for many other people, because your personallities differs.

I'm not offending you in anyway, and I'm not judging anything about argument between you and Rastaman. I'm just saying that I know how you feel about others when you're telling them what worked for you, and I know the only reason you shared it here, is that you care for them. But as you know, the some people may like it, or some people may not.

I liked your method, but it doesn't fit my personality. I'm sticking to sonicR for my short term trading and results are so far so good. So there is no need to change anything while thay are working perfectly for me.

I meant taking a trade without price confirmation (I use waves for confirmation on M15 ---> sonicR !) by saying "blind entries". As you said, you see how price acts in those levels. and that's what I was exactly talking about that why these kind of entries need experience and not all of them should be taken.

I would REALLY like to hear more about the NVO filter you and T are using.
But, I mean more in depth about it, the settings you are using it with and Exactly where you want to see the increase in orders before the entry shows itself. TAH seems to move down to M5 to look at the bars and if the higher volume is at the top or bottom. Not sure if he means the top or bottom of individual candles as they are actually forming. As, once a candle closses it is hard to identify if the volume was at the open of the candle of the mid area or close. Maybe I mistaking this and T is looking at a series of candles and if the volume comes in moving away from the dragon or towards it.

Maybe TAH could also join you in explaining how you guys use NVO? Hopefully.

He asked AFTER price moved, what went wrong, and I didnt mean to hurt anyone feelings, I think "should","could","better" stands for the same at the end for that inquired post. In my after post I tried to explain the reason why he "should", "could" or "better" have entered on the way up instead down, English is not my first language then forgive me if I've been rude at any moment, was not my intention.
Also, on thursday, TAH and I took a wrong one and got some losses even though we've been warned, works just like that, ones we win other we may lose

Just trying to get my head around Basber's volume tip.

The problem for me is to work out if the volume is increasing and price is being moved up, for a dump down, moved down for a push up, or indeed if price is genuinely moving in the direction price intends to go.



Is this the kind of volume you want to see in the wave formation or am I barking up the wrong tree?

I am still new in this way of trading but even after some loses I see that this is probably best return promising trading system I'd seen so far.
Recently all my loses are due to too high TP..Can anyone explain what exactly indicates setup beeing "small profit" and what shows that it can give 40 or even more pips?
I am attaching an example with two setups..first one could take around 15 and second one a lot more pips..Of course for both I can set TP 15pips but is this the only way to leave with profit?

i am a new user of this system..and want to ask a couple of questions....thanks all....

1)For long position,we need to have L H HL ....do we need to set the buy stop above the last H , or we just place the buy stop above the upper while line (EMA 34 MA) ????

2) how u guys use CCI? For long position,will you enter the trade when CCI above 0 or reach 100 ??
