Edit: Excuse me, I suppose the flat surface alone does not give a reason to sell, as the template is traded on the break of the flat surface. So this supports the reason to sell by being a resistance, and a break of it should give a reason to buy. I'll shut up now.

Dear friends. I'm currently in the process of negotiating with Wiley the idea of writing and publishing another book under the projected title "The Art of Forex Trading". This book is not going to have much in common with the "Beat the Odds..." and all the important trading, technical and other issues discussed there will be supported by a lot of charts and pictures taken from the real market. Each and every single trading issue that I come up with will be illustrated accordingly and in greater detailes. Different trading setups, technical patterns, market behavioral characteristics, possible complications and potential outcomes will be commented on.
Since most of you are already more or less familiar with the concept of my trading style and the method, I would like to ask you to post here your own suggestions in regards to the issues that in you opinion have to be covered in the new book. I will try to address as much as possible of them. Thanks in advance for your participation.

Hi igrok,

I believe you use abit of inter-markets relationship for trading ideas too ?

If yes, i believe this would help in generating trade ideas. Most important, what is your thought of inter-markets relationship trading.
Hope you elaborate this in yr new book..

Not much to add about techniques or methods. I do have a suggestion on the format of the book, instead of conventional text book style writing, how about a journal or diary style format, where this way readers can flow with you and feel your thought process.

A few suggestions on what to add part 1 :

- You said you had about 6 templates for trading diamonds.

- More details about reversing position, mainly where you put stop losses.

- How you use intraday templates on weekly/monthly/yearly chart

- Your definition of a trend (main moves)

- More stories from your trading career, i.e your 1.6bln position on usd/jpy and how you executed all of it just to reach a party in Vegas. Maybe a more personal book, its a shame that we know so little about such an gifted brain. I guess it would make the book more fun to write for you too.

- Advice on brokers you use today, charting and trading

- Templates on news-trading. You once said to just used to follow the MMOD on NFP

- Real chart examples on every template (!). A small collection with some charts with different scenarios and a few word how you evaluated them. Charts with some of your best trades

- You said you traded broken TL's yet it was too complicated to describe

- How you trail your profits

- A picture of yourself with both thumbs up and a address for your personal delivered Cognac

Igrok = quality ideas that work) I think most understood your concept in general! some more examples and details of your method will be useful for us. A bit more about indicators.

I imagine Your new masterpiece as a almanac of trading, fully covering tamplates whith real charts, whith real market paterns pictures, preferably in A4 format coluored one whith hard covers

Tell John Wiley that new book must not be about common staff for beginners. Let it be for those who have read "Beat the Odds..." those who read this thread. Must be about uncovered.
Please include in your book

1. UNPAID DEBTS & Warning signals.

Igrok, please, wright about:
- Combs.
- Flat surfaces.
- Gaps. What gap. A full gap? partial gap?
What are the Rules to manage them. Why do they work as magnet for price. How they look like in real chart. And four real chart examples for each. "Beat the Odds..." showed few real chart examples.

2 OTHER Warnings

…More about warning signals
wright about…Technical relationships between the pairs. Rules to manage. Why a change of direction of the main move on one pair might call the same reaction on another. Why excessive trading range on two majors might call the chain reaction on others. And More rules.
How technical situation on crosses influence the majors… rules to manage.

3. RETRACEMENT.

What is your knowledge about this issue.
When to wait for 30% of retracement to happen. And when is it going to be all 100% retracement? What are signals showing that retracemet is coming?

4. TRADING SETUP

Print trading setups. Those showing relationships between three parts of trading: average trading range; main move direction; lines of support n’ resistance. How they coincides with each other. On intraday and intraweek scale. About ten examples.

5. CYCLIC CHANGES IN MARKET ACTIVITY PERIODS

What are the rules to identify these cycles. A trading setup uncovering their using in real trade

I allready have cut 70% of it at ~1.3470, the rest will leave to float for a bit, as daily div looks promissing so far + daily decending TL has 3 points (though they look a bit dim)...
