gold is doing great & others can't fall owing to it perhaps . 1144.56 not hold & now 1161.15 should .

now the e/u goes above the 55 ema in the 15 min tf - and the way is free for at least 1.34

It is really that simple, people make things too complicated. Set email alert on meta for example and only look for a setup when your target pivot area has been tagged - the cure for overtrading-itis. Nap liberally in between.

Bit of a longer term yet still intraday loook on the 2hr... current candle Close at 1pm CST (40m or so from posting)

This looks poised for some retracement here (look at them wicks off S1!!) but there's a reasonably dense ceiling of Resistance to push thru above it starting with M2, to really get anywhere it didn't just come from.

The circled 21sma (grey line) is the first speedbump and the DP/Upper BB is the next one.

I'm bummed IBFX took their so called back office intraday hedging thingy away (again) and I'm stuck in one direction per pair now... That stinks.

Gold going up like a rocket and eur still struggling to peak through the r0.5 is anyways a very weak sign for the eur. Some gold bugs lately also mentioned the gold is not anymore that tight reverse bound to the buck.

I shorted now. F*** the bulls and if it climbs anytime again this year above 1.34xx I will extend my order collection massively.

Anyways, good trading all.

you can always "emulate" the hedge ... simply close the position and draw the horizontal line to remember where you had it ... the result of the emulated hedge is the same except you don't pay swap

i've been using the same indi for 4 years. i stole it. it's calculated by using the NY close. it's a daily pivot point and i apply it to a 15 minute chart of the majors.

it works very well and i like it because it's simple. i also have a monthly on my 15 min chart but it doesn't get much respect.

put my pivot indi on a 15 minute chart for one week... on the majors... and just watch.
