Preliminary calculation for EUR/USD:


Setup & Strategy - Sunday 04 & Monday 05 April 2010



Market shows some initial bearish potential for a move down towards below 1.3447 (Sup 1) or even to 1.3415 - 1.3403/ 00 (our knock off area 1.3393 - 1.3384) in case of an extention. This is first part / step of wave setup - valid as long as 1.3519 - 1.3527 or 1.3539/ 44 may offer resistance (expected) at first.

After this development - a recovery to the upside towards 1.3526 / 47 (Point d' entrée & Oscillateur à reprise) or even to above 1.3562 (Res 1) is possibly to expect (Elliott reverse - baissière plate) again.


Nothing more to add at the moment.

For Tuesday. I say Tuesday because there is aproximately 24 1 hour bars in that neck line, that would put us in line with Tuesday before the next move down. Which coincides with the market coming back to normal. (If there is such a thing!).

I think we were pushing for negation of wave 5 by hitting its 61.8 at 3604 which had a potential of opening up a corrective bounce towards at least .236 of the whole three month downmove at 3704 and if held towards the .38/.50. Unless this is an off day glitch and we bounce on Monday I would love to catch a short around 3515 and ride it to a new low.

RedRoad King has the lower TL spotted. The upper one goes back to Dec. Zoom out on the daily chart to see it.

I agree with that assessment, except I think the next neckline would be in line to drop on Monday after noon (US EDT), which may put it in line with any announcement from the Fed after their Monday 11:30 a.m. "meeting".

Morning all. hope done well trading nfp yesterday. me too good but traded briefly first 10minutes & last some 2pips/ 5 pips & inbetween tried some taking very less .Though closed most but not all longs at the end , now I see they positive specially gold, open 1119.50 now 1124.95, hope close then intact next monday.

Nothing special the last nfp, no direction yet ,bull failed but bear also not passed.medium term price still bullish as on the ltl & may easily bounce though bearish hammer in daily but within previous day's low ( the wick down of it suggested bullish next ).
in H4 HS still seems active & can play up.
In daily new setup developing ,now next 5-9 candles up can play if this active.
In H1 sell cd on 9th running , if price still remain downside at the bottom of most tf channel or over middle of them in higher tf ,it to close up 1.3488 after 4 or more hours, suggesting up move. though I believe some how price may test the lines, the break down I will take a confirmation down is 1.3460 first next 50.

JPY already get dumped, USD next to come.
Maybe so maybe not. Supply and demand isn't always an easy thing to gauge with USD. USD has some duties to perform for the world before its done I would say.

gbp/jpy - chart - think next weeks trading after 72-96 hours it would be good to buy gbp/jpy again if price is still over 140,50
