Parallel lines on the hourly nears a potential countertrend area in the current downtrend, shown shaded. As always, countertrend are limited in potential, profit targets are the parallel lines resistance areas. Trend trades can be taken off the parallel also.

What does st stand for? Also how are you caluclating first target etc.

Edit: As "risky" as I love to trade I had to dispel the idea that these are cheap prices. I cant help but to think the big guys want the retail crowd to suffer a bit more. jmho

So you are using some caluclation to caluculate the targets etc.

Hi Gator,

One final question please as i will research levels from s/r and pivots on the net

What trading package do you use and those that draw all the levels for you automatically using some indicator perhaps?

sorry for all the questions but really need to get the hang of this trading as work is slack and i keep making wrong trades

i am long euro, for a few hours expect some rebound,

fundamentals for us dollar are disastrous todays 5 year auction went really badly, us government will suffocate as dollar rebounds more in terms of selling bonds, could see similar scenario to greece, i still have a target of 1.15-1.25 by next year before a plunge
not sure how Europes crisis will plan out, i know the dollar is going down long term against swiss franc, nok, jpy,cad, nzd. Not sure if Euro will surivice dollar will get killed, soon, same with pound sterling.

I think if Euro kicks out piigs, that would mean resignation for mr obama, it would be like a hot knife through butter. Obamas terms would be over by next year.

short, on touch of bold trendline... lets see what asia has in it. oversold in 1m and 5m RSI and stochs... initial trade as a scalp but may let it run

I think Japan will say they didn't catch the first wave and they sure don't want to risk missing a second wave. So I think tonight will be another big slide. Maybe they will prop it up during their morning hourse, to then slaughter it in the afternoon.

Just dawned on me that it will only be thursday and we have the eu summit today. I'm looking for 3250, and then sidelines to reevaluate.

If thats where the big stops are...then maybe, just maybe it's where were headed. Although it did come close (1.3304) .. I wonder what halted its decline Greedy sellers perhaps, the latecomers....
