I am using the original template on first post 15 TF, according to your 4 H chart the entry 5 bars ago was correct and you could i have made a nice profit, it happen that between this 5 bars and now the trend did go on your favor.At the point i will not take any position , in general i don't like the signals coming after the first one, but it just a personal approach.

got a request for template with the 100 stoch line, so here it is (personaly i dont use the 100 stochastic line)

2 years ago i started this system live, was in profit, i even withdraw money from oanda, then quit this system went for search for holy grail! how stupid!
loaded today last template, and here it is! already 15% in one day! no loosers!

Hi Sphinx, i am using 15 TF, 15 SL/TP (see attached template),with mix results.I see your Oanda chart on 1 min. TF; what is your TF and TP/SL ?

I started to write, "How the hell could you.... " then I remembered how times I've done this very thing.

The settings are no more that the very first post from boxingislife, you can use my template right above if you want and choose your favorite TF

i want to know if we are trading with 5 and 15 min chat so how long we have to hold trade i mean how many hours or minutes we have to hold it because some times i have noticed that market went range bound and it moves price up and down in 2-3 small candles so what we have to do in that situation?
in how many minutes or hour we have to close trade manually in loss or in small profit or BE???

I've coded an indicator which some of you might find useful trading this method. It basically alerts you when:

The 4H, 30M & 5M are all above the 50 level & when the 1M time frame is below the 20 level for a long trade.

Or

The 4H, 30M & 5M are all below the 50 level & when the 1M time frame is above the 80 level for a long trade.

The indicator works perfectly, However I am looking for someone you could possibly insert a few more lines of code so when the long parameters are met an upwards arrow is shown on the chat and when the short parameters are met a downwards arrow is shown on the chart. I work be extremely grateful if someone could help me with this. I've spent hours trying but do not know enough about programming to be able to achieve this!

Instead of using stochastic of the normal candlestick can we use as input to the stochastic formula the highlow and close of the HA candles ?
Does that make any sense ?

Can anyone please tell me if the Stochastic Oscillator, Paramater, MA method should be set to simple or exponential?

i am using slow stochastic in M5 chart and fast and slow stochastic in higher TF .. its best to identify reversal and over bought/ over sold areas

Good thinking! I like your trigger method with the smaler TF RSI as well..

I have been studying some other threads on MTF Stochastics as well;both theory are nice to use together. I included the rope stochasics(multi settings from same TF) and added some longer term TF's. Watch the nice 'Elastics' with little price changes for nice continuation patterns!

I also like to see the effect from OsMA(MACD Histogram)..

Here you go:
Middle Stochastic Frame:
The Classical Rope(these Sonic settings are too nervous for me)
Settings: Fast Lines are Blue; Slow Lines are Orange; White line(Mimmics Price) = (100,1,3); Green line = (14,1,3);
I added some Higher TF's to this frame:
15minStochastics = Red Line; H1 = Aqua dotted Line; H1 = White dotted Line;

Bottom Stochastic Frame:
Sexyman Settings Stochastics:
Blue line (20,10,20);
Red line (50,10,20);
Yellow line (100,10,30);
MACD: (40,90,). These settings refer to Higher TF.

So I'm just wondering if beyond all the EA's and such that were created for this thread if just a simple email alert was ever made to alert when a trade set up occurs for this particular strategy with the stochs crossed and trending appropriately....

The two longer term stochs don't tend to change that quickly so you could just use a stochs email alert for the shorter stochs when the higher two setup. Search the forum for "stoch crossing". Has email alert too.

that was a quick response...and here I was thinking this thread was dead or something completely...have you been trading this method for a while...I came across it about a year ago when I first started studying stochastics from spudfyre and he references this thread in a few of his posts...
