Europe came online at 3 am EST. They bought into the dollar for Risk Aversion as Asian Stocks Drop Most in a Month.

I think the bearish movement began in 124 has finished.

The price in near bearish trendline and is probably breaking up.

While the price below 92 danger with short movement.

It is telling that the yen could not make any gain from the sell-off equities seen earlier today. Perhaps it is the uncertainty from year-end flows that is weighing on the yen. Or it could be the moves at the front-end of the US yield curve remain supportive of further gains for this pair.

We have gone long on this pair at 91.25, s/l @ 90.25, with an open profit target. However, we are hoping to see price move close to the 93.00 handle.

At the end USD/JPY broke up.

The price has gone back last bearish movement 92.16

Is above simple moving average 50 and it has light positive pendent.

Is breaking principal bearish trendline.

I think next movement looking up 96-97

First I need breaking up annual maximums 93.70

In 60 minutes the price has broken up bearish channel.

Now is stopped at resistance 92.16

Breaking up 93.72, annual maximums probably strong movement 97-99

Still Long from 90.55 on 3/12/2010, currently up around 170 pips . Price on the USD/JPY seems to have finally broken out of the consolidation it has been in the last couple of weeks. I have now reduced the initial risk on this investment by 61.32%. Will look for further opportunities in the next few weeks to reduce risk more or possibly lock in profit. Looking for price to travel to the Weekly Swing High @ 93.74 for 1st profit taking.
