If you analyse Mr. Trichette's comment about collateral, it amounts to basically what I asked about earlier (Whether the Commision could print Euros on their own). This is a major break for the Euro Zone, but it is really only the same thing the US did with "stimulus Money", and Britain did with "Quantative Easing". The amazing part to me was that the market absorbed the news without a ripple?? Perhaps the other shoe is yet to drop?? London open??

Also, remember that the main reason that 98% loose money is that they trade away their gains, or never let them run long enough to make a profit..

AU and EU are first cousins. EU is a little fast soo she is the favority spring break party gal- AU is a little slow and boring. but they move in the same way mostly.

according to the heat map the eur is strong on the dollar only a week against the rest
plus its down against the dollar on the month?

Not much liquidity in AU, and can lag for months.

At it's peak around 9 AM EST both EU and AU get around 40, 000 transactions hit on my e-signal feed (from 200 providers) ----though AU has slightly less almost 5 K less than EU.

Attached is the depth chart I took from dukascopy platform. EU has more liquid by a factor of around 10 % but again that is comparable.

If any, the difference I find is that AU is less voatile and I can ste my orders 40-50 points from entry compared to 60-70 versus EU.

Make sense too, why not.. I'm still not decided yet what to do, stick to

short term or longer term.. Whatever floats the boat sounds good to me..

Anyways, Investing in stock looks much easier and less emotional way to make money, if you have them in the

first place (in terms of buying Good quality companies at the right time)..
i posted that chart with green line for a reason. its longer term. we have been pent up here over a month.. some see flag some saw rounded bottom.. i just see a diag fib. on a tl it usaully takes 3/4 touches to break it. we hit it (#4) today as you see on the weekly chart. will today be the day? or will it not happen? who knows. i know markets rallied some after health care vote. will it take off soon? 3400 area is on many charts.. so if we do break tl i suspect bulls will push a bounce. how strong will it be? who knows.. but as said we have been here a month so movement could be deep.. IF........according to green line (posted over weekend) a path directly from 1.6 the bears have the ball.

england will not join- EU is a historic blunder- combining countries that never have been able to live together. Economic Opportunitism causes hold EU together unlike US where the states have common history. well almost.

UK already was in the Eurozone but after Soros ruined pound they step away. Now Eurozone is much firmer and has some mechanism to protect currency at least from tries like those. I tell you...that will hapen in this decade as US needs some counter so it will be united Europe. You can't beat US until you start playing their game.

well, take a look back in 2008, nzd/usd started falling 3 months before aud/usd. and now aud/usd is down 200 pips from this year high, and eur/usd down 1,500 pips, so whether or not they move in same direction or not , eur is far more bearish atm, it will take time for au to catch up

Until the 20th century they had 100 wars on their territory between themselves, with spain, england, mexico...they had to bought half of the territory from france, spain the netherlands...

That is cause of Greece and Pigs in general IMHO. AU will not sell off as much- AU is a commodity currency --recent hike in metals/ores and 4 % interest have propelled AU higher. It will not follow EU this time-

EU on other hand is being battered by speculators.

Personally I see AU may go to parity- 95 is for sure in weeks to come. There is now indication inflation aint gonna happen in US- No rate hikes for a year or so atleats. AU is gonna go up- I dont know what gonna happen to EU nor care. I make money it goes up and when it goes down

guzda- what you mentioned is between different nations not states. it is not as straight forward as you put it- and I dont blame you cuz unless ur from here it makes little sense.
