Nah, just don't like any of the PA today on the majors.

False breakouts all over the place.

DP, when the PA is like this, I am out.
Putting in your EP, SL & TP in this kind of situation does not appear to me to be letting the market decide. It appears to be gambling.
I am not here to gamble, if I wanted to gamble, I would go to the racetrack.

Hi, and welcome

I think you entered a little early at the break of the last higher low instead of the extreme low.
That said, the trend was with you so it was not that serious.

Hope you do well.

PS: It would be best if you put on your chart a green line as your EP a red line as your SL and blue lines as your TP1 & TP2.

Yes I've done well Thank you for your reply. I was wondering if I should enter on the last higher low or as you said the extreme low.

The break of the lower low is where you really want to enter or you could be entering at a resistance area. Obviously the lower low is going to be a stronger resistance area than the higher low.

GBP/USD is a good example of where entering LONG before the break of the high could get you into trouble.

from my previos trade i took -41 pips..but with this one i took +90...so the result is +49 pips

Well, I think there is a setup, which already triggered. But, as you said, the
PA today is very deceiving. No clear LH,HH,HL,LL for proper wave analysis...

I think your marked High is not the High to be broken, but it is a valid entry.
However, the trade must be observed how he deals
with stronger resistance up ahead. Now as I write, it seems that it is
testing that resistance already.

also, from my previous trade i took -54 pips...but with this one i took 82 pips..so result 28 green pips;

Yeah, he was actually making a short on EU but entered a little early so,I just used that GU example of not getting in before the high is broken. I also had my PPZ area a little above that area on my charts.

i placed a fib on my chart circled with 75% (active wave in pink line) level EJ price 122.85 from which i will go long (i would wait for the candle to close above 75% lvl fib) this is done in order to be safe determine bullish trend.(as i would be trading against the trend)

since the price did not move up 122.85 lvl i place short @ 122.20 (LL) and stoploss kept 122.75 (LH) or conservative 122.85 (75% fib lvl) and 1st take profit 60pips below EP. and shifted to BE for the balance half position. (for short i will not follow fib lvls as the trend is bearish and follow sonics simple rule H-L-LH and place few pips below L)

Looks like a good move long could eventually develop, Ravin. If it does not happen in time remaining this session, then there is the possibility the asian session traders will hold it down while trading in, in preparation for such a run. Maybe even the FO traders, too. But after some "consolidation", this could yield a very nice run up. Perhaps in several steps over multiple sessions. Warning: speculation.

Agree with you TAH, i would like to see the right shoulder develop on 1H TF.

Then I'll go long!
