SW Unemployment Rate (FEB) out at 9.3% vs. 9.4% expected and 9.4% from prior reading. (SW=Switzerland) news came out at 9.30

Surprising about Mexico, not really. What do retirees look for: value for their retirement money (it must be cheaper to live in than their own country); facilities (good infrastructure); friendliness to foreigners; good climate, warmer is better; food; government stability (Mexico is fairly stable, relatively); not to mention shopping malls and sports, particularly golf as when you are retired recreation is more important; security (well, here mexico is down on the list, though retirees stay away from the well known trouble spots); and of course culture. Unless you are super rich, you don't retire to switzerland or buy a desert island with no inhabitants.

Thats easy, if the price could break this week low, surely fall to 1.3500

That post was 8 days ago. We developed a triangle that broke up to retest the high of the range. We went back down to retest the triangle wall breakout to prove it has become support(which also coincided with the middle of the range) after which we retested the highs. And where are we now, right back to the mid level of that range (sitting on temporary trendline created off the lows).

Conclusion: We are still ranging. That is all. One would think that the recent FOMC decision would create dollar weakness, wrong. One would think the stock market being so bullish would create dollar weakness, wrong. One would think the Non Farm payroll data would create dollar weakness, wrong. Only one certainty remains, it is still anyone's game. Until this range gets broken it should be played as such, a range. Buy the dips and sell the peaks. As we are in the middle of the range at the moment the best move in my opinion is to pay attention to the big intraday news (starting in roughly 10minutes) and see how the market reacts. If anything will move us out of this 1.35-1.38 range, it may be the outcome to the health bill either today or Friday.

Sidenote: If the double top on the hourly chart on the Eur/Jpy (the pair which I have been trading for months now) is any indication, continuation lower is still what I think will happen. Time will tell

Yes that's all quite true. I guess you know that our current PM, John Key, is an ex currency trader who did VERY nicely for himself!!

Possible HS for the bounce now . did not able to take the bottom due my kid took controll of the computer . anyway ok to go as much as possible before the great fall start.
another chart up not so promising spikes of volume but on balance continue down > 0 , perhaps not below that & will increase after distributuion is over.

IMHO, if greece take loan from IMF, that is really super good news. Why? Because they guarantee to give..where EMF is too much excuse. Thats why. Its better buy in dips boyzz.

loan from IMF is open road for rest of trouble EU countries. Pressure off Euro, big time. Now, who funds the IMF?, hmmmmmm and which currency does IMF prefer for global currency, ah ha. now, let me see, which currency should i stay away from long term, ah yes, not yuan.

i seriously do not know how did u even come out with such an analysis. or is it cos u are are holding longs?

read this analysis from market watch which makes more sense:
Dealers said the European unit could keep falling to $1.3600 and Y122.50 later in the global day.
"If the IMF plays a major role in the Greek rescue, it will likely require the country to take very stringent" steps, said Mitsuru Sahara, senior dealer at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ. "This would drag down the Greek economy more, at least temporarily, than (if it had the) E.U.'s help, pushing the euro lower."

Never think so , it will hurt permanently in the believe of eurozone silidarity & raise question to such common currency hypothesis not only in greece but within other countries there , scam may not last forever.
