Well, I was wrong about 3800. I'm out of the other lot too now(stopped out @ -10). Flat for now, until we get back down to the pp.

Fontu, yesterday i missed the top by only 1 pip! and i wasn't seeing 1.3815 as a possible target. so maybe today ur again seeing something i am not. would u be so kind as to take your pick? is it blue, green or red trend line that will support this down move?

I completely understand where you're coming from. And yes it seems like they are helping Wall Street without regard to the people. But from a macro economic perspective the fed can decide to control interest rates or unemployment. They are focusing on interest rates at the cost of unemployment-- It's a cyclical process. Although majority of the public were not aware of what was to come and got caught in the hype of "everything is fine," a lot of economists and institutions expected this. Bush depleted Clintons surplus with the intent to lower rates without regard to employment, and Obama *will work* to create jobs at the expense of higher rates.

I am not trying to offend anyone, but IN MY OPINION (because I dont want to hear your LIFE story) the people who lost jobs should have not had jobs in the first place. When you see familar people who you wouldn't trust with a piece of gum processing loans let alone having a job with some authority.. should be a clear sign that there's too much excess. The norm of going to college and 'working hard' does not entitle someone to a job. Top executives who went to harvard for English/Art should not be running companies responsible for retirement savings. I guess they didn't get that memo.

Posting this again now that we've been rejected off that 50% fib level. For those who are short this is a good opportunity to build shorts around this area for a possible repeat of the formation around 1.4500. Stops should be above 1.3850 in my opinion and will change as this channel moves up.

The main risk here is the fact that it bounced on the 61.8% fib and looks to be a possible turn back north with the daily rounded bottom (And as malcom mentioned the volumes but I don't watch them so can't comment on this aspect).

That said today is encouraging for the long term shorts. If we do go back down to the LTL this week (and close down there on weekly) this would pose a threat to break down and take out the previous lows. Time will tell.



EDIT: Another possible plus for the shorts is the fact that the YM or DJIA got rejected hard off the highs and pushing it down below the high from 1/19/2010... If these hold below that high on the daily's we would have a double top here.

I'm still working but the dealership I work for was sold...the owner has been here for 40 years. Your statement is without merit and you have no idea what you're talking about.

EDIT: and by the way, I've "processed" 100's of loans in my tenure here is this business. It doesn't take a rocket scientist, you have the customer fill out an app, you enter the info into the computer and it says yes or no. Then you print more forms and they sign. That is all there is to processing a loan. These loans weren't approved by the "loan officer" individually. The financier/loan holder, pre-determines who qualifies or not...

It was the guy at the top in the big house screaming, keep giving out the loans. have you ever heard any of barney frank, dodd or any of those guys' interviews pre-crisis..."fannie and freddie are fine going forward" lol. This was republicans too, they all were getting perks I'm sure.

We all got ourselves into this mess to an extent but to sit here and blame the consumer and say people who lost their jobs, shouldn't be working is a broad an ignorant statement.

I had a respectable job and lost my job. I never missed work. I worked all the overtime that was asked of me. I supervised a shift of 21 employees. My shift was merged into another shift. The economy dictated that our clients couldn't purchase what they had in the past because their client base had diminished. And so on and so forth.

So you are saying that I shouldn't have had my job? YOU REALLY ARE AN ARROGANT ASS!!!!!!!!!!

Because I know what it is like to lose a job that I had relied on for years and years as the bread and butter on my table for me and my family.....I will not say that I hope you lose your source of income......but you get what I mean.

GO BLOW YOUR HORN SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!

I think your middle redline will support better 1.3674 to follow 1.3654 /21 if breakout ther direct 1.3483. but may not so easy to break . should bounce again a lot & perhaps not today. anyway care 1.3691, that is need for buy signal confirmation in h4.

Does it mean you need to all go institutional? No. But I know you all want to be treated fairly, with little to no slippage and no games from your dealer on your trades, right? So save your money, practice and gain with the funds you have, and if your SERIOUS (and still trading profitibly) go deal with a bank directly. If this seems like I am trying to sell you something. I apologize and I don't see how this warrents your life story or being on your 'iggy' list.

Ask Japanese, why the heck rates are low for the last Decade? To boost jobs?

BS! They simply cannot afford to move rates higher with 200% Debt to GDP,

without getting broke. You cannot rise rates with 12 trillion $ DEBT and rising

and lowest .GOV income due to the lousy economy. It's like rising rates

on credit card of the person, who cannot afford to keep paying minimum payment in the first place.

I don't think Rates going to be changed within 1-2 years at least.

Maybe after 2012, if size of the DEBT will allow to do so. Plus they need to inflate and not deflate the size of the Debt.
