My understanding, which is obviously wrong, was that there has to be a drop from the first close through the 35.

ie.... it passes through, closes, retraces back and then comes through again at a later time.

But I see in your example, that it is almost a pure continuation.

Hey,

If this trade closed as it looks now, would it be considered a tweezer and therefore a likely reversal as the wicks were close to the daily low?

Good morning All.

1h shoting star was nice ( got divergence there ), but best entry was at 1.3815 ( pivot R1 ).Now I wait for Asian breakout if 1h 10 sma not hold the price. Will see.

I took a half profit at this point, lots of resistance around here. If it really breaks out, can always add on a drawback. Im still a rookie at this, but learning more every day.

I just resisted the urge to go in as the hour candle following the star just close fairly bearish.

I am trying to be discaplined.... I don't really know whats happening, so I am staying out.

Though.........its sooooo tempting.
