Agreed looking for the e/u to go a little higher as it seems to be in this trend. Someone posted the trend picture above. But I will be looking for a short sometime tomorrow (when the euro goes toward 1.38 again) on the speculation that the FOMC might change the wording. Seems like a win/win if they dont change wording then I lose nothing and if they do then I make bank.

My guess is the markets have baked in the news that US rates will trickle higher.. the wildcard in that article is the 20% more debt offering this year and not if --but by how much this pressures rates higher. Good news for China though, they can all sleep better now with their US assets in their mattress..

It depends on the timeframe you look...

Maybe go up, maybe go down, if breaks the 1.38 level it may go till 1'42, if don't it will go to 1'30...

I think Crude will go up above $100 soon because the demand and cost. This will bring a weak dollar. Gold will still play in ranging in BULL.

So if Crude bull, canada will benefit in most currency.

People whom are severly "upside down" on their home due to severe depreciation are not making payments because to them it makes better business sense. Of course this comes the cost of wrecking their credit, but the foreclosure report might seem worse due to this. These people are and have been saving. Those that have already been kicked out of their homes are now renting from those who do pay their mortgages. Since they are renting, they have more disposible income.

Property investors are also prospering more than in last few years since demand for rental has risen. I am in south Florida and am very familiar with property values as a licensed property appraiser with the state of Florida. We were among the hardest hit with regards to toxic mortgage loans and devaluation of property values. I can tell you that values have stablized in most areas over the last 6-12 months. The market has definitely improved tremendously.

The most correlate crude that I checked pair is CAD/JPY. As same thing, anything can happen in the trading world. Good luck all.

I cant understand why you think that.
I am a intraday trader and I am interested what is happening in the next 2 or 3 days.
I see crude oil was above $100 in 25/08/2008.

IMHO, when US economy is recover, the oil demand is there. So the big boys will buy and hedge it by taking advantage on weak dollar. Low cost Oil storage is likely happen when credit market is good situation.

IF the interest rate still maintain 0.25% this year, the GOLD may jump to 1.3k to 1.4k per ounce soon. Reason, off course it is low rate. BUt that only happen if no inflation issue.
