The thread is not dead. It is there for any traders to learn about the THV method. The originators do not post very much because there is not much more to say. There is really nothing essential to add and many examples and explanations have been posted. A few of us check in from time to time to answer questions here and there, but really, this thread is complete with information - it only needs to be read.

Take a look at this trade today...
EUR/USD
1. PA been in an uptrend today. Heads up on 5 min chart when the 5 min IC Histo turns blue at 1515 hrs GMT. (Both lights are blue so even better).
2. Price is above the 20 sma on the 5 min chart and above the Coral. The 20 sma is above the Coral which is good. Price is pushing through the Sweet Spot at 1.3620
3. SS agreement. (See 5 min chart then turn to 1 min chart)
4. Looking at the 1 min chart price moves above the Coral and above the 1.3620 Sweet Spot and both top IC histo lights are blue which is good. In fact all 4 lights are blue which is better.
5. Both the 1 min fast and slow Trix have crossed each other and both are blue. (Also both trix crossed Zero line which is better)
6. 1 min fast Trix not overbought.
7. At 1520 hrs the 5 min fast Trix Histo turns blue which is good for long trade.
8. Back to the 5 min chart, the price is still above the 20 sma and there is stochastic agreement. Both IC histos on 5 min chart are blue which is good.
9. There are more than 10 pips to resistance so the trade is taken long after the Sweet Spot at 1.3626.
10. A Stop Loss is placed below the 5 min Swing Low at 1.3610 (total 16 pips which is OK).
11. A limit order is placed just before the 1.3650 Sweet Spot to exit the trade. (1.3648) Please note if you are purely scalping for 10 pips then you’d exit at 10 pips profit.

Here are 2 trades I took early this morning, there were more to be taken after this but bed time.
M15 time frame:
M5 F-trix, M15 Cloud, M15 F-trix, M15 S-trix, M15 X-truix, M60 F-trix, Stoch(15) with 20 offset, and of course P/S/R lines.
These were both Long trades and made 26 pips for the 2.
I have added the M5 F-trix to this alert as the previous trades were not using it.
The second image is one I took on the USDCAD, same setup, which was a short and good for 15 pips. So 41 pips total for this mornings session.

That could be re-programmed but a tip:
Forget about the lines, when they show up it can be already too late, better train your eye and read about divergence to fully understand it.

Indicators don't lag, they only tell us what happened not what will happen in the TF we use 'em.
They can be used as a repitition law, PA does that when it did this before in x % of the time.

But. we all use them, even if it is just the Price, S&R, and something else thrown into the mix. Like you discerned, they create pictures, maybe making it easier for our minds to relate. And we learn what individual picture to look for, because that is the one with the highest historical record of being followed by what we are looking for.
