Right now I see a short term sell off, but I guess you could say my long term convictions are unsettled. There certainly isn't a solid indication right now, I think we all can agree on that.

I cant decide wether to short here down to 1.3625 or possibly 1.3590 or wait to see how this triangle unfolds. Weekly seems to be forming somewhat of a rounded bottom which makes me think the downward channel coulb be broken soon. If I short, a safe place for a stop would be about 70 pips (which would suggest a break of the trendline and previous high). Seems too much risk, max would be a 1:1 P/L ratio.

Anything can happen & so not taking any trade so far .even it want go up or down will not be allowed so easily ,may make good sideways, see round bottom with a good range . again in gold though bear expected now but not at all matured , 1122 or down may not sustain ,it may want go at or above 1148 any up before the final dive down if all favourable.
see my gold analysis last night.not checking for update though now , a little later.

Just a slight observation...

This market seems to be very easy on newcomers. Moves aren't being as dragged out as they were, lets say last year or the year before.

Cable stopped at 1.4780...saving stops holding from 1.52
Euro stopped at 1.3450 saving stops from 1.38-40
Aud stopped at ~0.86 saving stops from the 90's area
I wont even get started on Eur/chf...lemmings heaven.

I miss moves that would drag out the stops of the masses

Nowadays seems as if the buy and hold strategy is working. Who needs stops?

I've got 3647, 3622, 3598, 3576, 3561, 3548, 3525 from a M15. Prime bounce areas if we go down this path look like 3633 and 3623....

I missed the conversation. Are you talking about oil on mt4? $wtc wtc is crude oil. find them on many fx brokers.
Before Forex I was tall, and clean shaven. Now I am an Ewok.

I did notice this morning that that 'kindly old gentleman' from shell has hired thugs, probably American 'security forces' (lol) to provoke some trouble in Nigeria. That should underpin the price for now??
