okey seriously..what the rate will say us...1.00 what will happenn ?..there is not expected a change...inother hand the US unamployment expecations...I heard on tv the start of the week it will be worse as expected ...but this isn't forecasted however...so there is someone manupilation of the price cuz all tecnical shows me the price should be not here..so maybe a very big move is coming and very soon..I don't know where nobody knows..many sellers hope to see 13450 level, many buyers hope to see 13750 soon..cuz last breakout yesterday...and the PA is sitting on 13680 level..bad

As long as the PA is under 37427.... this thing will go down.. there is no way with all the revolting in greece and other issues in the hindsight will the pair move up!

BERLIN (Dow Jones)--It is Greece's responsibility to solve its budget problems on its own and Chancellor Angela Merkel will make this "very clear" in her meeting with Greek Prime Minister Georgios Papandreou Friday, German Economics Minister Rainer Bruederle said Thursday.



"We must stick to the principle: The rules are that each country must solve its problems. That's the status," he at the sidelines of an event in response to a question about financial aid for Greece.

my experience as a german
the longer and more often they deny to spend money, the faster they have an elaborate plan on the table when it's due. the money is already spent on greece. they sat together all over the weekend to work out a plan for this, but in may there is an important election and many troubles surfaced during the past 2-3 weeks, so they will delay everything 'til after election.

my closest business partner is a 80 yr old company in Hamburg. and we are hoping for euro to tank to help our business lol
make eu goods cheaper for the world .. so fuck we can sell something .. this market is dead!

Greece most likely will receive funding, if not from Germany, than from IMF probably. That won't change anything & 1 year later or whatever we will be back to square one if not with Greece, then with another country in the EU. Unless we pull out of this recession, if we are due for another big financial markets sell-off, then EU & perhaps US will all be in the shitter.

Could be good news for $, but the question is will the price follow, or will go in completely other direction, wont happen for first time.

actually, i have no idea about the impact the news will have. trichet will speak, newspapers are reporting, they want to punish banks for betting against the euro, which will affect volatility... let's hope, he doesn't say the wrong things so that we finally see the overdue retracement to continue the downtrend.
i cannot trade under these circumstances

I have a theory about this and I want to see if anyone else out there has caught on to it.

USD and JPY are "haven" currencies. Often, when the US economy has bad news, the USD will go up, because traders will rush to get their money into a safe haven if the world economy is going down, and the US often dictates how the world economy will go. However, if the US news is extremely good or bad, there will sometimes be a spike and then a reversal. Here's my theory as to why that happens.

Say the US news is really good, far, far better than the prediction. The traders who jump in first will trade on the "haven currency" theory, and sell the dollar. However, later traders who are bigger and wait to run more analysis before jumping in may come to the conclusion that, "Hey, the US economy is doing a whole lot better than the rest of the world, we'd better buy it and get into the US economy." So five or ten minutes later the down trend on the EURUSD reverses and goes in the other direction.

Anybody else out there got any thoughts on this? -Hopelesstrader
