Hi soyabean - I was not watching this pair but after reading your message I have had a look and to me earlier today there was an 18.3a giving a sell trade just after the European open at say 86.0 and hitting P1 at 85.75.
I can't see a resemblance to the 18.4. I would say using some flexibility that it now looks like a failed 18.1a giving a buy trade at about 86.05 and a stop and reverse at around 85.60.
The uptrend still looks quite strong so the stop and reverse probably will not be triggered by EOD.

Striving to learn the rules of the game faced to the dilemma - what bar we should consider as the start of the trend and therefore what trendline will be right here - 1st or 2nd?

PA has to look different for my taste. Although some profit could have been made. I will try to post more ADR setups in the future if my time permits.

Was looking at the same picture. It looks alike the GBP/CHF.

Can it be taken as a 18.2 if you just watch from a different perspective of timing bro? The range is 40-60. But if you have taken it a bit earlier with the 18.1 rules it is fine too, it was 30-50 at that time. These templates are very similar to me when entering.

Double and triple checked the templates. Understand clearly why the 18.1.
