If this retracement is going to continue, and it looks like it might.....I wonder whether the recent high of 3838 will stop it? ........

In looking at the Weekly, Malc. is correct, we are going up..... Want some selling points??? Check out the Daily chart here complete with Fib Fan and some really nifty convergences. Notice how the Daily DTL, coincides with the 50% Fib Fan line and the supplemental DTL. Then the 61.8 % Fib Fan line and the Supplemental DTL. Now I have created a sell zone in the Grey square area. I will start scaling around the 1.3800 area.

Can anyone trading with Interactive Brokers tell me the spread on the EUR/USD right now? My funds don't clear until Wed. so I'm not getting the data feed until then I guess. Thanks in advance...

Why you thinking of going on a long vaction? I do not see it happening for sometime yet. On my monthly it broke through the strong fib 6.18 in September last year, bounced back down in December and since then we have been under the 61.8. It will need to get back there sometime though..

Well put sir malcolm! This whole bearish train is all fine and dandy but I am suspicious why these firms' bearish positions on the euro is all out there in the public eye like that....they want everyone to get short...appears like manipulation to me in order for the eur to get long so we lose and the pros win....like these hedge funds...even though they may be short like they say...just how much are they actually long?? my guess is a bit more to cash in...we'll just have to wait and see...

I doubt. 3838 is neither supported by the flurry of fibo points nor any valid trend line

Draw a fib from the high of 5140 to the low of 3443 and you will see that the 23.6% line is 3838. Whether it gets there or not, we shall see.....

A lot of times people post there open positions to persuade the market into going with them. In addition, Malcolmb and yourself should take a look at the last 6 cot reports. They all show an increase in shorts against the eu, and even commercials are starting to pick up more shorts. Just giveing you a heads up according to real confirmed data, and not just FF speculation.
All that is left in FF is just plain garbage. "Cloggie"

EU, I wouldn't expect a big up-move, but maybe a bit of consolidation or bear flag before down. Just longs don't be greedy, is all i can say
