I think although overall trend is down...now is a good time to make a long entry for hour or two...makeing some 20-30 pips....and then we are going back down...

well if im right and now wee see a correction on the oversold JPY There is going to be a Happy month if I'm wrong I will turn into an ostrich. but so far all is going cool. the JPY is at the bottom sinked and I'm alreadyy break even AUD = time to stay short

the way I do it:

a) if MT4, File --> Save as Picture --> Active chart (as is) .. save the chart on ur PC. otherwise "Screen Capture" the picture --PrtSc button -- and save it on ur PC in Paint
b) upload to image hosting site like www.tinypic.com (open an account if u don't have any)
c) copy "IMG Code for forums ..."
d) in the FF message board click on the "mountain" button (insert image) and paste the code .

remember to remove [IMG] and [/IMG] from the code

Very high probability we will go lower. 87.50 looks like a decent target. Short term we should bounce or at least consolidate for a good while.... 4hr rsi is below 20. Will look to sell again on a retrace to 89.50 area. Good trades to all.

I believe USDJPY has very high tendency to continue its bearish direction because the following H4 chart indicates strong bearish.

Nevertheless, I believe that USDJPY will encounter minor pullback before it continues bearish direction.

Trade is going along nicely. I do think 1:2 ratio is a little high this time around. The swing high is 200 pips. So I might do a 1:1 and go for a 200 pip drop and then trail it to see how much more I can get out of it. +129pips so far.

How low can it go? Unknown...but I am being very, very cautious with short positons. We are at and proceeding into extremly low levels for this pair... numbers not seen very often over the last 20 years. I'm not convinced, fundamentally, how much longer this risk aversion play can last. No one knows if we will pierce 85 or not... I'm just saying that, from a historical perspective, dollar/yen is very cheap right now.

Looks like ~8876 is major resistance point.

One question, pivot traders, there is usually 3S and 3R lines. What you do when the price drops or goes below/over S/R lines ? Do you take your own S/R lines or it's a sign that price has gone too low in that day ?

agreed Petra.... in my opinion is oversold and we will see a fast correction in both pairs USDJPY and GBP/JPY

targets 91.16 and 139.07


right now kicking my butt but will hold like you said is a historical low and the rebound is proven to be fast and big so...trusting the strategy will hold. cheaper JPY impossible
