testing hourly trend line from highs at 1.3570, above may see to 1.3600/20 area initially, then 1.3650/60, bias higher while >1.3525/30

I see.. so you are saying that since the chinese didn't change all the USD for EUR they will be rewarded?.. OK.. I agree.. could be a way of looking at it..

I agree markets are moved by geopolitics.. I'm really not clear on your statement totally.. LOL.. no biggie.. was just trying to understand it..

At any rate, I think the trend is down.. Until that changes, I will be looking for good spots to short.

I know but it doesn't seem to help
How do you you use the BDI in your favor.
Doesn't lead or lag stocks at all.
Well maybe someday stocks will fall if BDI keeps falling but I don't see any relation.

Word is that the chinese hold over a trillion dollars between US securities and USD. How is it good for them to buy EU and bring the value of their holdings down? So that they can buy more on the cheap? I think they are already very concerned about the state of our economy, and certainly wouldn't want to drop the value of their US holdings any more.
Please help me understand the logic behind this thought.
If only I knew then what I know now...

I think euro session tonight will initially push GU higher in preparation for downgrade of Greece bonds. Then it will run down hill like an avalanche...

I wouldn't be surprised if it falls over 200 pips by tomorrow afternoon...if not more...... Any opinions on this ?

We've got a similiar channel (I posted one a page or so back), I do like the bottom TL of your channel though, it makes a little more sense than mine.

Lets see where our shorts take us.

look at the chart.. late 2007 dow 14k was on the usd down cycle B-C. but in the past it went up as the usd was on its way up. Dow 14k topping as usd still weakend much further. this shoots a hole in what many think. euro went up because usd was artificially weakend. bds says china is in trouble. so commodities will be also. china is playing with their currency lately to fool the world. they already cut back. cat laying off and bds down comfirms this. them playing with the money adds weight to it. they also are reporting a future deficit. more prof u.s.a. is buying less from them. all this will weigh heavily on commodity currency in turn eu. greece is just another factor like dubia

this is a strange pair for me. I don't trade it so much. but I usually only buy weakness and the wait. from time to time I take profits when they are.

Trading Style ? I don't scalp. I don't look at 5 min charts. I wait have a lot of patience.

But taking a good look at chart can say that better if i had just follow the downtrend. Ppl talk about 70 on years to come.
